I see the "Hat Police" on the Uniform Committee want to make a "comeback", good grief! One of the few good changes that's ever happened around here was not having to drag that "bus drivers" hat around. Funny how the "pro hat" crowd invariably turns out to be those who have never been in the military, same with the 'Bomber Jacket" contingent.

That's SJS, not to be confused with Shiny Jet Syndrome. SJS (Senior Jerk Syndrome) usually has it's onset when you can comfortably hold a good line as captain. Sure signs are not caring about reserve rules and thinking everything should be seniority based. Around this time you begin to believe the retirement age for pilots should be raised to 80+.
