August 2013 Pilot Discussion

Did the same MOU ratified by the APA pilots give them carte blanc to reorder their seniority list any way they wanted because their previous agreement did a way with the old too?

Um, all AA pilots are under one seniority list that is "in effect", so that provision of the MOU wouldn't apply now would it?

The only accomplishment USAPA can claim is to have the whole pilot group placed under a permanent injunction.

What accomplishment can AOL point to, other than pissing away millions of dollars? Not one standing ruling in their favor.

See, Nic gave you a lot more than you'll admit.

Well, I guess yoy are right. From a completely ridiculous SLI to a mostly ridiculous SLI. Now again, why do yoy care? You did say you would answer my questions.

You guys crack me up. All the fake gravitas and logic in the world, but you require everyone to accept a false premise at the beginning of each proof. Management just told you, USAPA has been telling you for years. There is no combined list on our property, of any kind. Not legally, not contractually, not published, not used in a bid. A combined list at US Airways does not exist. And the majority of pilots here are not going to allow the West Class to create one out of thin air. There has been no process in the past, no process pending, nor any process conceived that would would reorder the West list, the East list , or the APA list. RR
Did you read any of the company's filings or transcripts in the DFR II matter?

Nic never gave, or took, anything. He simply participated in a failed process; and came up with a list that was horrible and perverted in that it took revenge on one party by giving a windfall to the other. You do realize you are discussing the mechanics and results of a process that is long gone and failed, a proposal on paper now wrinkled up and tossed in the trash in April of 2008? I remind you it is now deep into 2013. Nics bad work almost predates the introduction of the iPhone. Time to move on. Your minor dispute is over. (cue junior West Class pilot telling me how low my pay is) RR

Every single one, especially the one where they argued ripeness, having lied to USAPA prior to MOU ratification. No big deal, status quo on their part. Expected. But the existence of a current combined list is NOT argued in their filings. But there is one pesky document I have not read. Seems the West Class is asking their pilots to reply to it, yet somehow deny its exists. RR

Oh for gods sake! Emplement a joint senoirity list based on DOH..drop the fence on equipment..AB330/B767 & E190.

And yes..risk a DFR. So what? You guys can tie it up in court for years but by doing this it will shake loose some movement.

The Nicolau award is the seniority list until a different one is negotiated in a new contract.

[sup]It would be in your best interest because APA is going to eat you alive. No doubt about it. That MOU you just signed is the proof in the pudding. Ya'll are a bunch of idiots if you think otherwise.[/sup]

You do realize that the company will not accept a list which violates the TA/CBA they are legally required to abide by, right? You do realize that the NMB parked negotiations pending the outcome in federal court, right? You also realize USAPA could end the whole dispute by accepting the NIC, right?
