Here is the "thought sir" WTF is the LUP? She DEMANDS you have one. What is it?

WTF indeed. Metro, you are full of it. There is but one very refined complaint before Judge Silver, she wrote it herself. It concerns USAPA not using the NIC in the MOU. That is it, nothing more. Please show me the requirement for an LUP in that complaint. And before you embarrass yourself, go to her previous transcripts and learn why your made-up LUP is not carried forward. RR

I don't get this sites BS ops. bottom line is that I got my A330 type rating yesterday. In about 2 yrs, I will look at a left seat bid on the A320, about 2 yrs before retiring.......choices! Had we chosen the Kirby proposal, I would have gained about a 10% raise and would have been stuck there till retirement at around $95k/yr, due to West pilots cutting in line ahead of me. W/O the MOU, I am at $112/yr on the A330......and as all of you know, the MOU changes all of that. Thanks to my East brothers for standing up for what is right, I appreciate it! breeze

Ah the everlasting "I got mine" argument. Well, who can dispute that? A judge, perhaps.

You'll see it when she issues her order...just like in claxypad's favourite misunderstood quote.

So, not in her complaint, but in her order? I will bet you at least "two years without a pay raise or new contract" that is not the case. We both lose. RR

I just don't happen to see it as "I got mine"......it's more like, "You didn't get mine, punk!" I assume you would only be happy if I had been stuck in the A320 right seat while you leap frogged ahead of me getting your A330 type rating. Then you would have spent the next 20-30 yrs in that higher position, lining your pockets at my (4 yrs to go) and other East pilot's expense, eh? I can't believe you think that is fair. And you hold a position as a rep for the USAPA pilots.....that just suks! You should be ashamed of that attitude. Mesa puke attitude! do I need to remind you that the LUP is in representing ALL USAirways pilots fairly? You don't seem to have that going for you, Dave. breeze

You're betting what is "not the case"? The requirement for USAPA to have an LUP?

She has no complaint. See, she is considered to be the Judge, not the Plaintiff. What the hell are you talking about? The requirement for an LUP is an over arching concept that governs all union operations. Not just SLI. A union needs an LUP to take any actions at all. She didn't pull that out of her ass btw, it's the law. That's why she referenced its requirement in claxypad's favourite quote.

He loves to quote it, failing to realize its actually his fake union's noose. The LUP requirement has been, and will always be present. Why don't you know that by now?

If this merger tanks, you're most likely going to retire on LOA93. Two years to a pay raise? Why on Earth would you be so Optimistic?

Dave???? where did you go? No response? I just need to know......if you are a legal rep of USAPA, you're in a position of being bound to represent the LUP of the union, right? .....IMHO, if you're not representing the LUP, which is the charter to seek fairness to ALL......THAT'S ALL..... USAirways pilots, you should step down or be thrown out on your ass! I pay very high dues to keep you in office and I think you need to represent my interest! Yet you put me down and accuse me of being in the "I got mine" crowd. I have never accused you of anything, but I am now.......SCAB! breeze

It is what we have been saying the last 5years or so and now due to EAST ATTRITION it comes to pass, picture this, a reduced to a focus city PHX with all the displacements, the NIC and the KIRBY, and your retirement fears would have all come to pass, Well if ALPA can change their merger policy , it can be changed, NO JCBA NO LIST, USAPA just has a different merger policy, ! CONGRATS BREEZE!

Don't forget, the downside!, yes 7 less vacation days! The NIC just like every other provision of a JCBA is subject to ratification, and the T/A has provisions for modification! MM
