You just can't help living in the past.

The DC9 and PIT hub aren't coming back

"If" we just replace Hummel with McKee and put Crimi on the NAC we can get the Delta contract now and the $400 million the company owes us.

http://compasscorrec......tion.com/ "Keeping our union honest" This group of clowns have not said a word since the beggining of February. It's time to RECALL HUMMEL.

Rather than a recall effort it might be a little more reasonable to have an open discussion of why he should step down. Give him a chance to do the honorable thing if it truly is, and a chance to answer the reasons if he thinks they are unreasonable. I don't want to hear anything from his opponents that say "He didn't do enough". Whatever, the MOU passed. He was a persuasive cheerleader. And I don't want to hear from him "But I am an indispensable cheerleader and I have done so much, so ignore everything else".

What is the reason he should step down?

He didn't get us the Delta contract now and the $400 million McKee says we left on the table.

Actually I believe that if the MOU triggers ripeness for the West DFR the CLT Reps want to renege on the MOU.

Poor leadership, pilots don't trust him, lies to us, no information from him, working with the west and management, Gary saying he does not trust the P4P guys, POS MOU, and you'll love what's coming.

The company does not owe us a DC9 and does not owe a hub to the city of Pittsburgh, but there is no doubt they stole a lot more than $400 million dollars from this pilot group. The posture of defeatism anytime the company says boo will beget more boo from the company.

The company agreed to pay the taxes on the APA pilot $100K payoff. 28% tax on $100K is $28,000 times 10,000 pilots equals $280,000,000 (The company had at leas $280 Mill to spare, or they are willing to "do the right thing" even if it costs $280 Mill out of DUI's pocket  ). Entering negotiations with a defeatist attitude begets defeatist results. I am not saying individuals cant' vote their own conscience at the end of the day, but at least folks ought to come to honestly look at the wide range of facts that are present rather than jump to the conclusion that pilots must just accept the company's word that their first offer is the best there is, and they should be grateful as the best offer is putting the company in the poor house as it is.

Are you just slow or are you trying to lampoon your opponents with a straw man argument. (Use Google for a refresher. 😀 )

I told you I don't want to hear, "He could have done better". The MOU passed. Contribute something or don't. Its your choice. 🙂

Poor leadership is an opinion and in my view isn't persuasive.

Pilots don't trust him... how many pilots, and why? Again, not persuasive to the pilots that do give him the benefit of the doubt.

Lies to us... That is pretty serious, and would be hard to carry the burden of persuasion. Personally I'ld be very deliberate in preparing the case for an accusation that serious, and I would not make the claim unless I was immediately prepared to back it up in the appropriate forum.

No information from him... Kind of ambiguous... are you implying he failed to provide transparency and is using it to act beyond his authority? See comments on "Lies to us".

"Working with the West and Mngmnt" See comments on "Lies to us"

Doesn't trust P4P... Even if I accept that he really said as much, what did he do? Did he fire P4P pilots and was that outside of his authority to do, ie. was it an abuse of his power? Again, the burden of proof is high and accusations should not be made lightly.

POS MOU. It was ratified by a majority. I am not in favor of musical reps recalls in the hopes of getting better negotiations (better as hoped for by what is apparently a minority view). If the reps do something unconscionable, like ALPA national and most of the former MEC, then by all means toss their negligent, untrustworthy, deceitful A$$e$ out. But otherwise be judicious and don't fire your gun before you see the whites of their eyes.

You'll love what's coming. Actually I don't think I will love what is coming. If its just emotionalism and character assassinations then I will be very disappointed. I hope for better. If indeed there are legitimate reasons to recall then I also will be disappointed that he didn't agree to step down. See comments on POS MOU.

Don't worry about Gary and his friends the Compass Corruption Boys they have this all under control. They will blame this all on Mike Cleary. Chippy's group the PHX and DCA boys along with John Taylor in PHL will protect the current leadership. There was a 3 year massive assault on Cleary and it worked according to plan. I can only imagine what promises were made! Ciabbatoni and his good buddy Koontz were working majic with those grievances. My personal favorite has been Siegle in Silvers courtroom. The company has been sooooo neutral.

Watching from the sidelines.

Do we have to fly together for you to acknowledge/answer my question? (p.s. My original post/qestion and the current question are rhetorical, but feel free to respond however you wish.. there is that choice thing again) 😀
