The Swiss Cheese MOU is dead. You will never see those pay rates now. Never. What do you have left , 3 or 4 years at most? In that light I have to ask an academic question: Would you have preferred the MOU pay rates of 2013, with all future raises being fought in arbitration? Or would you prefer the pay rates of LOA 93, with all raises being fought in arbitration? (and already lost) For me, having accepted the merger as dead, I am even starting to like the New AMR paint job. I cannot believe I was so petty to ever give it mention, based on 1.6B our group saw go out the door after the DOJ announcement. All the naysayers will have the next two or more years to ponder their situation and throw the darts at those who stepped up politically and got the deal. The dead deal. RR
He HAD 12 years of earning power in front of him when Bradford hatched his bright idea in the van down by the river...now he only has 4. Devastating financial loss. LOA93 forever. Such a pity.

Read it and cry me a Wye river. Keep blaming others for your stupid, ignorant and misguided information you gave to your fellow west pilots. You are not a victim, you are the perpetuator. You are living in your own feces, do not blame anyone else.

What has the 'real' union got us?

An orange vest and an injunction (Thanks Mikey!!)

And a letter from the company saying if the merger fails the company has no interest in returning to the negotiating table with the pilots. But, I'm sure Steve Crimi as our NC chair will put fear into the company!!!

He's right about the deposition. Hummel isn't the worst one for your side either.. That's what happens when stupid people are in charge. Although what the fake union is attempting is so blatantly egregious I doubt anyone could hide it.

Groan! So this is the drivel we are going to get for the next month? Depo analysis with no proof? Give me a break. Tell you what Metro, if I am not reading the transcript here I will consider anything you say about any depositions to be a lie. RR

How is the nic award going for you? Hey, when are you upgrading? Wide body flying? How much have you moved in seniority lately?

100 per month to army of lyingitas x 12 x seven years? Yes, enjoy.

Seniority is like crew meals.

"United Pilots Make Their Case on Crew Meal System Board Hearing

On hand for Wednesday's System Board hearing on crew meals was (front table, l-r), Counsel Jeffrey Small, Captain Todd Insler, Chairman, MEC Grievance Committee; Captain Rick Cauich, Member, MEC Grievance Committee; and Captain John Rood, Member, MEC Grievance Committee. (Back table, l-r), Counsel Betty Ginsburg, Captain Chris Tringali, Member, UAL-MEC Hotel Committee; Captain Rick Aaronson, Chairman, CAL-MEC Hotel Committee; and First Officer Pete Pellegrino, Chairman, UAL-MEC Hotel Committee.
The United Pilots System Board of Adjustment convened on Wednesday for a two-day session. In the case before them, the Association asserts that the Company violated Section 4 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and over 22 years of established past practice by discontinuing jointly created Lighter Choice Special Meals, restricting the availability of all special meals in violation of the Agreement and by ordering pilot-specific crew meals to be exchanged with passenger meals when passengers desired such meals.

This Board will decide whether you are entitled to a satisfactory meal or not. Although this case is rooted in a change to what was the long standing and mutually understood UAL practice and as such was brought to the Board by the United MEC, the UAL-MEC and its Grievance Committee recognized the need to move forward in the spirit of union brotherhood and cooperation in advance of the final combination of two MECs.

"In our preparation for this case we have made a truly collaborative union effort; one that all United pilots should be proud of," said Captain Todd Insler, chairman of the MEC Grievance Committee. "We have put together a team consisting of both UAL-MEC and CAL-MEC Hotel committees and both JNC Chairmen (First Officer Phil Otis (UAL-MEC) and Captain Dave Owens (CAL-MEC). This team has worked for many hours putting together evidence and testimony that will serve all United Pilots and hopefully uphold the contractual language that was derived from the UAL practice."

Sometimes when I nail it, I have to crow a little. I told you all that because the West Class has finally realized the NIC is no more, that they would step up their strange practice of telling the East how bad their compensation is. Read it here, every day, day in and day out. It’s all they have left, having torn up the failed lottery ticket. Perhaps our perceived pain will give them solace in their loss.. RR

What have the AOL boys got us? Nothing (Thanks Ferguson) but keep sending us money!!!!!!  😛

My daddy did give me one thing and I am proud of it.

I'm taller than you and always will be.

Yes, that is important, another part of life as a "self made man" you worked very hard on, your height.

Lets see now, daddy gave you your education and flying lessons. Your job at Us Airways and your height. You are proud of your accomplishments?
