I've got news for you, we're on the same train and it's going the wrong way.

Minority? Leverage? So you're saying the people that want to have a decent contract here are in the minority? lmao. That sure does explain a lot.

Don't complain about the quality of the MOU when you support a plan that divides us and hands the leverage over to the company. You can say that you acknowledge there importance to contact negotiations, but your actions say otherwise.

Bean
Well, all i can say to that is, it's a good thing you're prepared to live on loa93 forever. I'd like to see you guys off it, but what can i say, i'm in the minority.

Bean

The following is satire;

Hi I am bean, your majority against the minority is going to keep your majority on loa 93 I am glad you are on loa93 because of it. But since my last post, I am in the minority of the minority that does not want to see majority on loa 93. That is my opinion, but your majority should just give up and give the minority what they want because,,,,,,,,,,,,,,....................////;;;;;;;;;;?

OK then. Let's venture deep into Fantasyland for a moment and say you've gotten you nic handed to you. What possible use would your group ever be in getting any contract improvements, and how would you attempt to do so, perhaps by issuing yet more management-worshipping knee pads out to the mighty "spartans"? 😉

You just don't get it do you. The leverage switches from management to the union because there is no longer a liability issue for management to use against the group. It opens up (at least) the option to strike, because currently no court would EVER grant us that in light of the Unions stance on seniority. It gives the union UNITY and LEVERAGE. We both know though that you think you can get all this with DOH and without the west. I wish you the best of luck, because I really could use a raise.

If you honestly think, for even a second, that management's ever been the least bit seriously concerned with any "liability" issue, ...well...you're the one that just doesn't get it here. Keep being played like little violins if it suits "spartans" to do so.

Bottom line = Any who'd proclaim themselves enthusiastic scabs if not given their nic, would scab for whatever issues of personal convenience arose. Any creatures so pathetic as to wish to "turn in" supposedly "fellow pilots" will forever stay scumbags, merely awaiting other opportunities to again prove themselves such. ANY group of so hopelessly ignorant fools that'd EVER cheer on mangement against their own class and craft (ref: injunction/fuel school/etc) are forever far too ignorant and spineless a set of complete village idiots to be useful in any trying situation....Period. End of story.

"The leverage switches from management to the union.."...? Really? Not if such is even the least bit dependant on "you'se"...umm..."spartans". That much is certain. 😉

because..... it's what the majority wants, but they're too emotional and misguided to know how to get it. There, now you've got it, Clax, ol buddy 🙂

There will never be unity between the East and the west, management knows this. They will never let the west and the East fly together, management knows this.

You are sitting at the phx base for a long time, it is fair because it is what you brought to the airline. west leverage? What a joke.

I always have to shake my head when I see stuff like, "the Nic is dead." Even if it were dead, it wouldn't help, because of the fact that it existed. It is powerful proof of what a list should look like between the east and west. It doesn't matter if you think it isn't fair, it doesn't matter if I think it is or isn't fair. It was done by neutral arbitration and there's no proof (legal) that it was done wrong. If you think that the union would ever be granted the right to strike over that, especially replacing it with DOH (restrictions or none), I've got some beautiful waterfront property in Arizona I'd like to sell you. Parker knows it, legal knows it, American knows it, the courts know it, it appears everyone accept the majority of the east know it.

Oh well, better hope for the merger then.

American Airlines knows the facts.

"In particular, although American takes no position on the
underlying merits of this litigation, the possibility exists that injunctive relief entered here in favor
of the Plaintiffs (should they prevail) could interfere with the obligations of the parties to the
MOU (including Defendant USAPA) and could interfere with the Bankruptcy Court’s jurisdiction
or complicate the ability of the parties to comply with that Court’s Orders."

Tell me about it. In a New York minute, just to keep their job, the top 51% of any labor group would vote themselves a 40% pay cut and allow the bottom 49% to be furloughed. Profit instructions to management.... Wash, Rinse, Repeat, and Repeat Again.

So sad but so true!

Regards,

Bob

If you think that the union would ever be granted the right to strike over that,....

I very much doubt the union will be granted the right to strike...period. What I've no doubts about is the current or future worth of the west in any efforts to gain better conditions and compensation. "you'se" of the "I hate all of you'se" fine lads and lasses would, in my estimation, prove worse than worthless in any such endeavors, so why even humor any "spartans" further?

Thank you for making my point Clax. Sometimes I'm too lazy to pull up stuff. You do realize what they're suggesting, right?

Considering some of the previous bonehead moves, like the injunction, unfortunately you're probably right.

Check out cactusboy's posting history for a fine example of a worthless-suck-up-"campany man", add to that your illustrious Johnny M's expressed-on-camera desires to "turn in" east pilots, the wholesale and astoundingly stupid glee often expressed about the universal injunction, the west's unbelievable idiocy over the "fuel school" business, and then explain to me exactly what possible, or even remotely conceivable use your bunch would ever be in any negotiations scenario...?

I rest my case. 😉
