Thank you for making my point Clax. Sometimes I'm too lazy to pull up stuff. You do realize what they're suggesting, right?

Bean

Sarcasm,

No, please inform me regional jet pilot goddess of the sky, who single handedly saved the east pilots from a america west airline scab laden, new hire ground school while on probation.

Go up to a united pilot and tell them your thoughts on seniority. Make mention you are a west pilot.

As much as I enjoy these little discusions, I have to go scout the enemy. Don't worry, I'm not talking about you guys 🙂 Have a good night.

Sorry, didn't see your last post.

Here's a hint: If it can muck up an MOU it can muck up trying to strike, becuase yes, you guessed it, it's a liability.

I don't fly the 190, do you? Never flew an RJ either, just turbo-props.

Had dinner with a United check airman in Denver. He doesn't think highly of the east's view of seniority. What was your point?

Good night.

Yes. Gender specific departure from an intelligent conversation they are losing.

.... It doesn't matter if you think it isn't fair, ...

If the majority doesn't matter then you are correct.

.. it doesn't matter if I think it is or isn't fair....

If the majority doesn't matter then you are correct.

.. It was done by neutral arbitration and there's no proof (legal) that it was done wrong. ...

There is legal proof that it was an internal union process toward a negotiating position, of which the majority repudiated and the minority wishes to return.

Cheers. 😀

.... If you think that the union would ever be granted the right to strike over that, especially replacing it with DOH (restrictions or none), I've got some beautiful waterfront property in Arizona I'd like to sell you. Parker knows it, legal knows it, American knows it, the courts know it, it appears everyone accept the majority of the east know it.

Bean

The East and everyone else knows who has professed their eagerness to be scabs, in the event there was a strike at USAirways.

The very premise to your argument is that it would be futile for the East to ever lead the USAir pilots into a strike... and we all know why... Just saying.

Suggesting? No. Someone is suggesting they should get the court to impose something above and beyond what the contract says, something they didn't secure in negotiations?

Were is your sense of integrity dude? Where is the moral outrage

You should have thought of that before you tried to screw one third of the group.

Everyone is happy to stay on LOA 93 so it doesn't matter.

I hardly find trying to find a solution to the NIC abomination a screwing. trader you do realize a solution was our first attempts.?.. And you do realize that 2 USAPA presidents have made an attempt to settle this...

I see. So then; threatening to, or even actual scabbing's presumably "OK", just so long as it suits ANY group or individual's momentary notions? Sigh! Now THAT'S an "interesting"..umm..."moral" perspective.

Someone best jump in the Wayback Machine and rewrite the rules of engagement for the actual, no BS/Fantasyland Spartans at Thermopylae: "Yo Leonidas! Umm....Sire Dude?...There's a really, REALLY lotta' Persians out there, and..well... something you once said to me pissed me off, and you hurt my feelings, so I'm goin' over to their side! It's ALL about MEEE!, so remember me in proper Glory!" I'm sure they'd have all understood and fully sympathized...After all; aren't all "moral" values and "principles" merely "relative" notions of any given moment? 😉

LOA93 and the 1/3 of the pilots that got screwed... You have done well....

Tell me, wasn't it LOA93 that gave management the opportunity to have 1/3 of our pilots furloughed and offered them the highly prized Jets 4 Jobs? And you voted for that, did you not.

ROFLMAO.

This is were Eastus points out that you would have been Ok with the J4J pilots scabbing your job if you did a strike in the last ten years. 😀

This is going to be settled in the courts or arbitration and people don't forget when they have to spend their own time and money to keep what they are legally and ethically entittled to from being stolen.

You could moonlight as a paid consultant for ALPA national so they don't ever become a regional airline union. Oh, wait..
