It's currently 12:30am and flight 2 hasn't even pushed from the gate yet. I know before I left work tonight that they were swapping the crew out. The reason for the delay is maintenance, but I thought we kept a RON 330 in PHL? Wouldn't they just be able to swap it out? I'm guessing the spare we might have is the one in YUL though.

No RON's. I A330 is parked for S1 check at YUL

Incorrect, we do have an RON in PHL. It just so happens that is was undergoing a scheduled engine change and was not available. The RON usually flies the SJU roundtrip every morning.

How long will it take to get things back on schedule since the return trip won't get in until after most of tonight's departures will have left (except the one that this plane makes up)

I guess if they're done the engine change flight #3 inbound can be used as the RON tonight to fly San Juan tomorrow. This is all depending if the engine change is complete. A mechanic instead of an fsa would be better suited to answer that question.

Opps for got about the SLEC.
