Say what you want about AMFA raiding unions who've lost their way, but at least they've stuck true to their mission and only represented mechanics.

But if the Transportation Workers Union says they want to get back to representing their core groups you “chose” to completely ignore that.

“As for the TWU, the union seems to be comfortable with the parting. On Monday, TWU International President John Samuelsen confirmed the vote and told Casino.org that “Last year, [our] executive [board] resolved to focus our resources in our core sectors, which are transportation-related.”

But unlike the AMFA acolytes who can never own up to their unions historical failures I have no problems sharing stories that are easy enough to find through Google searches.

I don't need to admit anything as far as the TWU is concerned. I think there are a corrupt organization regardless what they did to me.

Sure, they represent air workers, Rail workers, and Transit workers. The needs of a flight attendant aren't the same as the needs of a mechanic. They try to be a jack of all trades, and apparently a master of none.

Then again, you're a fleet service clerk, so I wouldn't expect you to understand why mechanics feel they have a different situation.

Aw poor widdle baby had his nose punched when he was just a little boy and can’t get over it.

“What they did to me”
Weren’t you nothing but some analyst or something? A useless pencil pusher.

You got nothing but an old ax still left to grind and the people (or single person) who did something to you back in the Stone Age is long gone. Maybe you should consider seeing a grief counselor.

No one today in the TWU needs your approval as far as their performance. Their Contracts speak for the job they do and which you’ll never read anyway. And I couldn’t expect a pencil pusher to understand a Union anyway either.

Never once held a pencil. Spent a lot of time in meetings and a few hearings with John Conley and others from the ATD, though.

Lot of respect for John - he was a real unionist who also got screwed by the TWU. Seems like that's the norm, though.

Ironic since I found John Connelly to be somewhat arrogant. I think you may have been thinking of John Donnelly (Not Connelly) since he was the one fired from the International and then sued them for wrongful termination.

Do you feel that all people who get fired from a job were screwed? Maybe you also feel Jim Little and his group were also screwed when Lombardo, Samuelsen and Garcia beat Little’s chosen successor Joe Gordon? (A nice guy too BTW) Another guy named Joe Campbell also keeps trying to run for TWU International President but he doesn’t get the votes of the delegates.

Proof BTW that those jobs in the TWU International are not necessarily lifetime appointments. When you lose the confidence of the Locals like Jim Little did you either have the option of gracefully stepping aside or they will run against you, more than likely win, and then you’re forced out in disgrace.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2017 LAS VEGAS -- TWU Local 100 President John Samuelsen won election today as International President of the Transport Workers Union of America, a post he has been filling since the resignation of former President Harry Lombardo earlier this year. In delegate voting by the representatives of TWU locals from across the nation, Samuelsen won by 364 votes over former Local 100 Car Equipment Department Division Chair Joe Campbell, who received 36 votes. The voting took place as part of the business of the 25th Constitutional Convention of the TWU. Read the full story in the Daily News here.

If you can't even spell Conley's name correctly, perhaps you shouldn't be asking me if I'm confused.....

Conley was head of the ATD until Druumond replaced him in 2010.

I know who Conley/Connelly is and I could care less how his last name is spelled. I talked to him on the phone once and met him in person too once and found him to be an arrogant ass.

Maybe you liked him cause you both share some personality traits?

I like the current Leadership of the TWU because they don’t have those swelled heads like the group that used to be in there.

I guess I’m not the only one who didn’t give a damn how his last name was spelled.

“Effective Tuesday, April 1, 2008, I am placing Air Transport Director John M. Conely on administrative leave from his current position as Air Transport Division Director. Brother Conely will continue working on his other operational assignments.

Until further notice all administrative functions associated with the Air Transport Division will temporarily handled by International Secretary-Treasurer Joseph C. Gordon including staff assignments.”

Too many people like you are stuck in the past like being mired down in a bog. 1983, 2001, 2003, Etc.

Get this through your head. No one wants to hear your dusty old records anymore. Elvis Costello left the building.

Congratulations, you discovered how to use Google to try and bolster your arguments....

I really do miss the days of Bob Owens and TWU Informer/AMFA Dave. They at least knew what the hell they were talking about.

Those who forget their history are destined to repeat it.

Arguments? Who’s arguing? You?

Man I am so so sorry 😢 for you though just longing (obsessing) for the past as you watch your years just slip away.

As an FYI Bob and Dave are still with AA. Bob seems to be very happy these days having moved on from the past. Dave on the other hand is a very sad case. He just can’t get past his obsessions and no one I hear likes him. He’s always angry. Can’t get a date to save his life either. Pathetic individual.

Don’t be like AMFA Dave.

And BTW E who cares if you hate the TWU since I doubt you even know a single person who’s in the leadership anymore.

Here have a YouTube for old times sake.

Oh trust me, I'm much happier with American in the rearview mirror. As long as my pension checks keep showing up every month, I don't really care what you guys do. The more you screw up, the better it is for my airline.

Not really longing for the past, but just noting that Dave and Bob were much better to converse with than you, because you're nothing more than a mouthpiece repeating and toeing the party line.

I still fail to see why you have such a problem with AMFA considering you would never be represented by them. Maybe it's because the TWU you knows that without the mechanics, the other coattail riders like you are really screwed.

Man you must really have a hard-on today.

Ok you’re happier where you are now. Where have I heard that one before Fa La La Lu Lu. I keep forgetting your story. Were you another one walked out of the building with a boot to the rear? I suspect so. Those are the types that can’t ever get over the injustice they feel was done to them. (Tissue Boxes)

We’re not conversing. You don’t know how to converse. You can’t even see for yourself that everything is sour grapes. Sorry bro but you didn’t corner the market on crappy things landing on your head. You like Dave cause he hated the TWU like you. That’s an easy one. You liked Bob because over the years he wasn’t much of a fan of the TWU either. Ironic how the leftovers from the old days crucified him when he said he liked the directions that Lombardo and Samuelsen were taking the Union. So they ran him off and finally had no one left to argue with. Where are they all now? Apparently it’s not much fun dancing around in a mutual admiration society slapping each other on the back and there’s no girls left to dance with.

You have obviously a severe reading comprehension problem. Extremely severe. I have ZERO problem with “AMFA” AMFA is nothing but shell setup. It’s a fraud. The people who buy into it nothing but uneducated Country bumpkins. The others looking to feed off their own to gain some authority and a couple of extra bucks. (AMFA Dave and MacTeirnan)

I have friends in M&R who LOVE when I tear into the clowns. They know I don’t back down from the thugs. But on your idiotic, dopey and stupid assessment go tell it to the TWU Fleet at SWA who aren’t riding any AMFA coattails and actually make more money than the AMFA (Lee Seham) represented Facilities Maintenance. 50 poor suckers stuck with the chittiest representation in the Industry.
