What's new

BYE BYE ALPO

Try this on for some hubris:

The guy who owns that domain was hired in 1999. That means that he was:

1. Probably furloughed more than he was actually on the property at US Airways.

2. May or may not have even been back on the property at merger time (unlikely) and maybe not even when the Nicolau arbitration started (this I don't know), but he was off the property until at least 2004, according to the website formerly belonging to his side business.

What does he hope to windfall? Jump all the HP guys who brought jobs to the table? Most of which are probably his equal in DOH seniority and far greater in the longevity department.....

To repeat: a 1999 hire. The irony is stunning.

Wanton hubris.

Dear "I don't have a clue with a 2 X 4"

I can assure you that many more are associated with this website than just the guy who owns the domain.

Understand, that the unity with the East pilots runs from the most senior to the most junior, in opposing the implementation of the seniority list. That is a fact! The East pilots will do what is best for them, I expect the West pilots to do the same and I respect their decision to take whatever position or action they decide.

The opinionated posts and rants on this board are just that . . . mostly speculation and half truths and spin.

Watch the website and watch out for a loose 2 X 4 that may be coming at you. Be careful!

This is far from over.

The fact that you were worried enough about the whole thing that you bothered to do a little research.....     B)

I'm not worried (there will always be someone to fly me around beyond SEL range), but I thought the irony of a 1999 hire doing the lifting was hilarious.

His amazing career expectations shattered by Nicoalu! Oh, the humanity! Decertify, indeed.

What's funny here is that it's not only unrealistic bluffing, but it won't keep the list from being implemented any more than refusing a joint contract will. ALPA is not going to risk the quite obvious loss in a DFR action to keep AAA in the fold. Bank it.

1900- West pilots, about 2900+ East pilots. What part of a "single carrier" do you not get? You are getting a new union, in about 9 months, give or take. Will the list stand outside ALPA? I think "no." Will the list ever fly as is. I "know" NO.

Film at Eleven.

Greeter.

Decertify, indeed.

No, no..no. No decertification, only change of union.

Better get your facts straight.

Hi Greeter!

Ole "2X4" is hung up on the domain owner. It is clouding his thoughts.

What "hit by a 2X4" doesn't understand is that the domain owner set up a website supported by hundreds and hundreds of East pilots and growing more each day.

DFR???? Ha, ha, Ho Ho

No worries here.

Do they sell 2X4 's at walmaaart? maybe ole "I don't have a clue" can get a job there soon.

Bluster, blundering, and basically hot air.

I predicted the Nicolau outcome to the "T"--brutually overreaching would come back to bite AAA--and was spot on.

I'll now make another bold prediction--East won't boot ALPA and even if it does, the list will stand under the subsequent union.

Keep in mind that the MEC (or, in greeter's case, the legal counsel to the MEC) are the same twits that led you down the road that resulted in Nicolau--do you really believe you can take a mulligan and get it undone?

If you do, I have some river spanning real estate for sale.

No mulligans here Clue...we are picking up our ball and moving to a new course.

Just watch.

You tell nice stories... 😀
I think all of you east guys should continue your therapy here on the boards, you all seem to be able to vent a lot of your inner angers and disappointments in life through postings. Keep it up. Take care.

You are right. Nothing going on. Just get back to work, and remember...you are only "senior to Chip" when the airlines are merged.

...

So you predicted that the arby-trator would prejudicially deny either side the opportunity to actually express their argument, and then penalize them if they persisted in their argument, rather than acutaly listen to the arguments "as is" and make an unbiased assesment of how to cut the baby in half?

You knew the arby-trator was going to be biased, and penal from the beginning! Too bad the East guys weren't aware that he wouldn't be impartial.

Your continued effort to show that the East won't do anything belies your level of concern.

And by the way, the AAA ALPA message board is a ghost town. I wonder were they all went to?

After all the money loosing---- laundering etc etc brain storming that has been done by the various EAST MEC'S over the last eighteen yrs the wife--afa---"BOSS" has had it----esp. after I told her of the profit sharing going out to the WEST by our generous MEC boys---she has had it with the naybobs that make up the EAST MEC----tick me off and no big thing---but make the BOSS mad and BOOOOOOOOM.

When did Nicolau deny either party the opportunity to be heard?
