Can anything Stop JG ?

When are you gonna learn?

Your ibt cba is dead in the water, it does not matter anymore, it will not be renegotiated, the IAM CBA will be the starting point of the transition agreement, even your Negotiator AWA Contract has stated that.

Sorry to inform you, your ibt contract calls for no raises, the IAM CBA has all ready had one raise since the Final Offer CBA was ratified and it calls for yearly increases till the amendable date, unlike your ibt CBA.

A 1% increase in 2006 and 2007 and a 2% increase in 2008 and 2009. Too bad your ibt CBA wages are frozen with no raise. And the IAM M&R have a DCP and a 401K match.

Once again, you make this too easy and don't let the facts get in your way.

The IAM M&R are enjoying raises yearly and your pay is frozen and your CBA will be going away.

The only ones in the west that are on a pay freeze are the techs that are Topped Out, All others get full pay raises till topped at this time!!!

I am not talking about the non-topped out M&R, because on East 99.9% are topped out.

Step raises are a given, I am talking about COLA raises.

And once again typical ibt M.O. just dodge the facts.

The company has already said that they can impose the East pilot contract if agreement isn't reached on a merged contract. If that happens, it'll take at least an arbitrator and quite possibly a judge to decide if they're right.

Jim

And if the judge says they are right will the pilot group just whine and moan for the 5 years ?

The way I read it the 190's can replace a lot of 737's at a lot less pilot pay. So 20 year f/o's that use to be captains and have already taken a huge pay hit are looking at another 35-40% paycut along with LOA 93 for the next 5 years.

At what point is enough , enough ?? And more importantly what is the pilot group going to do about it if a judge says LOA is good till 2011 ?

Just a guess? Exactly what you said - "whine and moan for the 5 years".

After watching (from the inside) the majority give in when we really did have leverage, I'll be watching (from the outside) to see what happens now that we (they) have almost no leverage.....

Jim

UW there you go again... what the ibt has said is that both agreements will stay in place for their respective group until the new cba is done... why do the pilots and f/a's get a new contract... not just transition. I have shown you in the past that the f/a's transition agreement valls for a new cba negotiation...
calling names is not nice if you are doing the same thing.

as you said that the company does not want to deal and the rla supports them, then that might explain why ibt can not get back the outsourcing that was gone before they came in.

just more dribble from the mouthpiece of the IAm, why does'nt the leader get on here and answer our questions instead of sending you or Dell?????

ALPA nor AFA filed single carrier status, as they are the same union.

The IAM filed single carrier status and was granted it by the NMB, meaning barring no election you will be TRANSITIONED too the IAM Agreement and even if there is an election the same process will occur no matter the outcome.

Take the time to educate yourself on the matter instead of insulting and calling names, this is my fourth merger, been there done that buddy!

There will not be Section 6 negotiations, just a transition agreement to move the ibt HP M&R over to the IAM/US CBA.

Take it to the bank.

A captain made a good point to me the other day: just imagine how costly it would be to impose the East pilot contract on the West. Hiring more schedulers, paper bidding, computer infrastructure, etc. Not to mention the months it would take to make it happen. They know this! MHO is the Hemenway later is 100% posturing. Plus there's no legal precedent for it. Let 'em try it!
