Definetely good news. Hope it continues and let's hope we become profitable now, so we can get profit sharing and continue the hat-trick incentive! Let's take care of the customers and our on-time performance. 🙂

Some things of value that were said over the past week or so by Parker that are upfront, candid and some positive, some neutral.

-"Money wasn't spent on the valuable asset of Philly in the past and we are spending it now to embrace it's value as an important hub"

-"We expect to make a small profit, however the industry is largely now controlled by oil prices, so we will probably break even this year"

-"We have 2.5 billion in cash and cash is what you need in this industry right now"

-"We are "right sized" and do not expect go grow anytime soon, but will take advantage of opportunities if they make sense, merging the two companies and growing at the same time are too complicated"

-Early last year US Airways was hanging by a thread and didn't have many options left other than liquidating, America West wasn't too far off from bankruptcy and if US Airways had liquidated Philly and other hubs would have been picked off by carriers with more cash and credit leaving America West in the same stagnant position it was in.

All in all..things are looking up for this new company and workers of each carrier should give it their best shot to continue to make this a success story in the future.

Everyone gets to pick their own shift: work whenever you want for as long as you want, then just go home. We'll still pay you for 40 hours.

All work is done inhouse, with 28%+ pay hikes for EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
