Anyone know where I can get some info on Retiree Med. Ins. costs for 2006?? Since ALPA deemed us not worthy of access to their BB we are out in the cold!

The original topic of this thread is not worth the bandwidth. Move on nothing to see here!

ALL OR NONE!

A trade unionist would not threaten other members with being sued or jailed because they stood up for what their members wanted.

A trade unionist would not write an editorial in The Charlotte Observer filled with untruths and criticized other labor unions at US Airways.

A trade unionist would not be in bed with management and let themselves be used.

A trade unionist would not spread rumor after rumor about things that never happen.

Do I need to go on?

SpinDoc Replies:

Lighten up Francis. That's the beauty
of having a forum such as this, so that
opinions and conjecture can be shared
among differing people. Capt. Munn has
not always been correct in his assumptions,
and has managed to stir the pot from time
to time, but he has also played an
important role in keeping the general
public and employees informed on internal
developments. His analysis of the news
articles has been accurate about 10%
of the time, but that's still a better
track record than many who post on this
forum.

I'll say this once, you are quick to
criticize anyone who doesn't support
your militant unionism, and you never
give credit when someone else is right.
Have you considered finding something
else to do in your spare time, other
than ranting about how unfair your
miserable life has been at US Airways?

I give credit where and when credit is due and I do plenty of other things in my spare time.

And I just tell it like it is, if you don't like it, put me on ignore.

Uh.... yeah. Okay. Sure doesn't
appear that you have anything
better to do with your time.

Just remember, unions are not
what they used to be, and you
may be wasting your time by
trying to convince people
otherwise.

I think Mr. Munn recognized
this fact many years ago, and
was trying to get elected to
transition ALPA to the new
dynamic that is overtaking the
airline industry. Change is
constant in the airline biz,
and you either adapt, or you
disappear. There is no more
room for hardline union
stances anymore. Just ask
some of your counterparts at
NW. I'm sure their ex-mechanics
are not too happy that the
union decided not to adapt.

In YOUR opinion! I will NEVER get on a person who votes his/her conscience regardless of the path chosen.

Even you!!!! I might point out how I think you'te wrong or misguided but I've NEVER though your views wasn't or didn't need to be heard

Ask him why he pulled his "info" column from the LGA pilot group and keeps it at something called "pilot action" which are like minded individuals and invited only to post.
Doesn't seem like he had the union first in his mind....

He took his marbles, went home to his "observer's perch" in a snit to pout.

Just remember, unions are not
what they used to be,

UNDERSTAMENT of The Century!!

Of course they are not and are in fact losing ground daily with morons giving them underserved praises and accolades nonstop.

It's a mental illness that grips the mind of union officials, that is the only explanation for how they act and the results they accomplish. Their accomplishments must be measured in negative numbers, many thousands of negative numbers.

Anything that lives dies hard hanging onto the once strong breath of life it had, like some wild animals unions need more than one bullet to put them completely out of their misery, preferably, a silver bullet so they never suck blood again.
