The only place CC will ever be elected is on this board, the same for CD in PHL. The fact that either of them thought had a chance was a joke. For someone to say they are disappointed in CLT, shame on you. I happen to believe the flight attendants that do take the time to vote do it intelligently. PHL is over and CLT is over, so now I guess some people will just have to sit back and stew for at least another year when PHL positions come up for re-election. Congrats to AC and her team, congrats to CLT for making an informed and intelligent vote!

Hey, ask Ann why there was never a candidate meeting in CLT. Could be she didn't want anyone to get to know the other f/a's who were running. She also didn't want people to ask" what have you done for me, lately" Her stance was,"you don't want to vote for her, she will mess things up" Never mind the issues we could have asked all the candidates if we had a meeting. Same thing happened three years ago. "You don't want to elevt a RSV f/a, thet will give up everything" BH actually believe this crap, as nost are led like sheep, when it comes to this. I can promise you this, I am not going to sit still for three more years of tis crap. She is going to get a face full and she is going to recognize this rsv population. That I can damn well promise you. Bring on a rotating RSV system. She should have had a meeting. That is so freakin weak, I can't believe it.

Fly, how was the base supposed to make an informed decision without any meetings or debates. I would have loved to sit there and hear Ann say" Don't elect her, she will give up everything". Great stance. I saw it three years ago, and nothing changed this time. The sad part is that the BH vote was not an informed one, just the opposite.

Those type of forums you speak of cost money. Where do you think the money comes from to pay for a town hall meeting? The money comes from the local budget. So you are saying you wanted the current LECP who is running for re-election to organize and pay for from AFA funds a campaign forum for themselves and the other potential canidates? I can think of a few things I'd rather see my dues going toward.

I'm sure if you had any questions for anyone running on that ballot you could of easily picked up the phone and called them, or emailed your questions. Everyone put out a campaign letter or two. Phone numbers and email addresses were provided on them. Do your own research and homework. The people that were informed wanted to be informed those that weren't didn't want to be.

How about any monies that was due the sec/treas. position in Clt that was left vacant after Flores ditched CLT? How about any local meeting in Clt in the last year? Are we not supposed to have a meeting every 6 months or so/ Even Steve Hearn had candidate meetings. Matter of fact, this is the first time I can recall not having one. Just goes to show selfishness on the part of the current office holders.

Being that I know what cheerleader you are and from what camp....Celine would have really kicked butt in PHL and would have literally changed the culture of the MEC...and you know innately what I am speaking of.

And that is PRECISELY what the dues $$ are for! The Local officers should be having more meetings and communicating with their members who voted them in, instead of the MECP doing all the communicating and writing.

The LECPs should act like LECPs instead of acting like LEC-VPs in an LECP seat!!! Those who take these seats need to act "presidential" instead of followers. Strength is evident in one's character...LECPs need togrow some "balls"!

That is exactly what I am talking about. RSV's figure Ann doesn't want to have any kind of meeting, due to the fact she has no respect from 90% of the rsv's. If she doesn't have a meeting, she doesn't have to come face to face with a large group of rsv's, who might want to ask some tough questions. As I have said in the past, Ann is in a position that she has never sought. She is in their due to the fact Flores bailed on us. It was like he was never here. Honestly, 14 straight years in office is one hell of a buffer from being out on line and getting in touch with your population, especially her rsv's, which she hasn't been for ever. She should have to come out a experience this LTO system. Sure people complain about it, but you have to live it to understand it. That way, she could feel the suffering, not just hear about it. Again, her stance was, "Don't vote for her, she would mess things up", and" Don't vote for him, he's a RSV, He'll give up everyhting". We have enough followers in CLT, who believe that crap.
