US Airways has little if any real concern about things like "image" and reputation. If these guys could make a superior return flying from SUX-FRA there would be a SUX-FRA route.

Andrew Nocella is a very smart guy and US rarely starts a route that ultimately fails. Some that don't yield what they might like but on balance this one area that US excels at.

I was shocked when I wrote in a suggestion for a flight and received what appeared to be a personal response from Mr. Nocella. Alaska ended up doing the route and making money, but I'm sure Mr. Nocella was right and it wouldn't have worked as well for us.

See unlike Parker & Kirby who think they're the smartest guys in the room. Mr Nocella IS the smartest guy in the room.
