CLt Hotel(if you call it that)

I just had an overnight, where I took and filled the sink with shampoo and hot water, so that I could use a washcloth and clean the nasty and hair coverd bathroom floor and bathtub. The carpet floor was not vacuumed and I kept stepping on some unknown substance. I have in the past,on a very short overnights, cleaned the sheets with soap and water, as they had something on them and the overnight was so short, I did not want to take the time to change rooms. This is standard mainline crew hotels.
That sounds disgusting. It's a wonder your are not sick more often.

There is the company in Pittsburg (SSO) Shared Services Organization. They make our hotel choices for us.
Actually, it is in MDT and your fearless leader KH was in charge of forming it before they dumped him back at PSA.

Yes I do. CAD does not make training hotel arrangements.

Then who does? Because this is the company policy:

These procedures apply to specified US Airways employees involved in business travel requiring hotel and/or car rental reservations; all conference, seminar and internal or external training attendees where travel requires expense reimbursement. This policy encompasses any United States (US)...travel where company business is involved.

fearless leader KH

How many people have to quit for KH to see a problem at PSA?

I don't know any F/O that isn't looking for a new job. Some are even giving up their seniority to go to the bottom again at other airlines. Does he even have the slightest clue?

An 'important' person like you should know.

Doesn't ALPA and AFA have hotel committees that inspect the properties that we use?
Yeah, but the company routinely puts crews in hotels that were NOT approved by either union. Boston and Chicago are prime examples. Nothing like having a long layover in two of the greatest cities in the US a full 45 miles away with no access to mass transit. Add to that they're dumps and you've got real winners.

AFA and ALPA have grievences about these two...7 months later we're still in them.

Chicago is not a dump. I havnt done the Boston. But I know Chicago's over night(long) is not a dump. They are suites..with flat screens..two seperate rooms and a kitchenette. There isnt much around to do..so if ya gotta go there...expect to catch up on sleep or tv or exercise.

Sorry, it could be the Helmsley, but when it sits next to an industrial plant on one side and a controlled access freeway on the other, it's a dump in my book. Nothing like taking a chance on your life by trying to cross under a freeway with no sidewalk just to get something to eat.

As far as BOS is concerned, I was there in July and there was a naked homeless guy living behind the dumpster there. Nice.

You know you are fat dumb and lazy when all you care about is the flat screen TV and a fridge you can put your old milwaukie.
There is more to life then monday night football!
