...Just moments ago a Ventang 205 went through YGE enroute to the promised land...chasing fires in the BC interior. Oh, the sound of a Bell medium chasing smoke, pure music 😀

They are evacuating houses in Terrace now. The Kamov will be there tommorow.

Hi guys, wondered if some of you have some contact with the guys flying in Spain with Abhu Dahbi Aviation in the fire season. They are having lots of fun flying up to 8 hours a days in the last week !!!
I talked to one of them the other day. His name was Ben (not much for identification eh?

We've heard the 214 rumor, but no confirmation so far. My sources confirm that it was NOT a '14 from Squamish or Salmon arm, don't know about the fleet from Chilliwack yet.

I was told it was a 212, stuffed it's tail in the water....

What kind of tune does a Ventang medium hum when it flies by?? I'm just curious to know if a rock bottom cheap -ss per hour helicopter sounds any different than any other??? Does it sound like AC-DC or is it more of a Celine Dion squeal ????
