<_< ------- Sorry FrequentFlyer, not this time! The well is dry! It's your turn to pay now, not ours!!!! Now this is reality!!!The general public has had a free ride for TOOOOO long! You can't expect us to subsidize cheap fares any longer!![]()
New member here, hi all. I agree with this statement. The flying public has to start paying the right price to fly. The employees should no longer subsidize cheap fares.
My husband has been with AA 20 yrs now. Started in Chicago, then Orlando, then Miami, then Chicago, and now Dallas for the last ten years. We have already had to file bankruptcy last year, even though we did everything we could to stay out of it. Lost all of our credit, lost our car, barely kept the house, credit is shot now, and the only creditor that objected was guess who, AA Credit Union. After everything they had the nerve to show up and object to our trying to discharge a $1000 loan, they were also the lowest creditor as to money owned. Fortunately, the judge blasted them and blamed them for our BK Filing, it was wonderful, lol.
Anyway, this offer is garbage. I can't believe it took them 7 weeks to come up with this. I wasn't expecting alot, but no way was I expecting something as pathetic as this. My husband will vote no if it comes to membership, and I truly hope all TWU members will vote no.
