What's new

Complain, Complain, Complain

piney,
well said, and thanks for the comment on behave of the east.. I met alot of really good hardworking folks in phx last month , its a shame that a few have to put a black cloud over the rest.

We on the east have had to go through mergers & culture changes before so this is nothing new.. but it is obvious to people like UPNAWAY that they can't handle culture change.. As with previous mergers

it will take years until the 2 groups come together , but that I am better than you attitude will do nothing but bring failure to an already failing airline

I agree there is nothing inherently wrong with SHARES as implemented by Continental, A JD Powers award winning company when it comes to customer satisfaction. However, SHARES in the hands of incompetents is another story. SPECTRE I can't comment on as it is not a customer facing system.

sky high states: What I was hearing is that LCC bought the cheapest version of SHARES. CO has an upgraded version. Anyone know the truth? Secondly, I heard that the people from SHARES told the company/Doug dont impliment it, employees arent ready yet. Doug's response, "Go ahead, anyway."

rumor or fact?

Bar None the US Airways Legecy employees are the least educated, least motivated, least flexible, least hard working, least loyal bunch of corporate slugs that could possibly exist in America!

sky high states: LOOK who we (easties) have to coexist with now. Some of the industry's LOWEST PAID, KOOL-AID DRINKERS, MANAGEMENT INTIMIDATED EMPLOYEES, HAPPY TO JUST HAVE A JOB, stooges like------> UPNAWAY.

We've given CEO, AFTER CEO a chance to run this airline efficiently and properly. Even rallied behind Stephen Wolf's vision for this company! But, WE'RE EDUCATED ENOUGH ON THE EAST to KNOW that your wonderboy, Dougie, is rudderless. We've seen it before! He's riding the wave of OUR CONCESSIONS, nothing more. And, we'll continue to be VERY VOCAL at how OUR MONEY is spent or squandered!!!!!!!
A merger has to be in the works, what else can explain this OPERATIONAL MESS?

There is a difference between who is a kool-ade drinker, and who is the one putting the poison in the kool-ade.

Nonstop whining, 20 years on.

The true kool-aid drinker doesn't care if it is poisoned. They have been programmed to do as the master says.

I read these threads and all I ever read is wah wah wah. Yep they stole your pension and they took your vacation and your sick time your double time. I could go on but you all know the rest.

What I don't understand is why we do nothing about it? They get rich off our sacrafices and pay day after pay day we let it go. I am tired of it!

I say we start to work safe very safe and follow the rule. Tell your union rep get the message out.
Wait and see the end of November!!!

UPNAWAY "This airline sucked for the last 20 years but it is all Sand Castles fault in the last two."

what would you know what happened 20 yrs ago.. you were too busy trying to learn your multiplication tables and playing

with your desert G.I joe doll

Some things never change. Now he is playing in the Sandbox.

Here is a fact, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Shares or Sceptre, what is wrong is the absolute refusal or ability of the East people to us them properly. About 75% refuse to try and learn and about 25% are apparently incapable!

Who is better to judge, someone who has worked in the industry many years on several different systems, or a westie puke with 2 years who's never left Arizona in his life. There is no refusal, or inability to learn here. I'm probably more proficient in shares than you, but the fact is it's an inferior system, and the promised improvements are not coming. Sorry UPNAWAY, "OUR" new system stinks.

How's the view UPNAWAY?

In the original Usairways darkest days through two bankruptcies I was NEVER as embarrassed to work here as I am today. This new management that has taken the reigns has NO idea what they are doing. Even the day that we all had the 21% pay cut forced upon us, I didn't feel as bad. I NEVER thought I'd say that. I will admit to seeing slight improvement in Philly on certain days but overall it's STILL a joke. We had to go HOW LOW before we started to climb out of the hole? We have a long way to go. 🙄

I second that... After work if I have to go in a store first thing that comes off is the uniform shirt... (tee shirt on underneath) The Pride is definetly gone..

Heck look at how our CEO dresses...Got to be the sloppiest CEO I have ever seen.. So he doesn't care enough about in public appearance why should his employees

Never that I would go from working at a MAJOR ,NETWORK,LEGACY what ever you want to call to working for a OVERSIZED REGIONAL..

The Arizona 'business casual' crap is so embarrassing. Sloppiness and being over-casual may be a geographical thing but if you want to relate to your employees and customers on a global level you need to be a little more businesslike. You may be in the desert but the majority of your audience (employees and customers) are not. I don't see any other carriers racing to dumb down thier product or striving to have the cheapest and tackiest image in the industry.

You see these people from HQ at road shows etc and you assume they are a sound guy or something, only to find out they are in fact vice president of such-and-such. Hmm, well you can't put on a tie and run an iron over your shirt but you expect us to believe you know what you're talking about?

You can't force a culture or attitude onto a blended workforce, especially the larger part. If they sit around HQ in flip flops and culottes and rumply unbuttoned shirts, fine. But when you come to present something, representing the company from the very top make an effort, look like you showered, laundered and pressed your clothes. Look like you are in the corporate world.

I never thought I'd see a day with flight attendants where shining your shoes and wearing a blazer or a tie is almost seen as an act of rebellion.

Have you seen the new sculpture outside the Tempe HQ? It's dedicated to the employees of the former US Airways. It's a 25 foot Rear View Mirror with the inscription, "Mirror Mirror in the Grass...",

Ah, I'll let you finish the rest.
