Cordle of Airline Forecasts Says Delta Bid "Good Deal"

Here's some numbers from the 2005 annual report with fleet numbers for 12/31/05:

HP mainline - 141
US mainline - 232
Total - 373

W/O Express - 18 E-170's, 49 CRJ's, 59 Dash-8's
Contract Express - 10 E-170's, 122 RJ's, 42 turboprops
Total - 28 E-170's, 171 RJ's, 101 turboprops (300 planes)

The investor guidance issued on 12/27/06 said the year-end fleet would consist of:

Combined mainline - 359 (including 2 E-190's)
Combined Express - 292 (28 E-170's, 202 RJ's, and 62 truboprops)

ps added - obviously, you can subtract the 2 190's from the end of 06 total since they weren't flying the schedule at the end of the year - I don't think the 2nd one had even been delivered yet. Likewise, you can subtract the 3 757's acquired in 2006 to get a better look at what happened to the fleet that existed at the end of 2005.
