Could it be DUBAI?

Had the manager of KWI station on one of my flights and he said that UAL was applying for Dubai along with CAL for Abu Dabbi (i think thats how you spell it)... Anyone know about this?

It's only a 1.5 hour flight from KWI, why not get a bigger plane {747} and do both like other airlines do..{Thai}

AUH would be a different story, as it's about 2 hours from KWI and Eithad has that route by itself. They use a 777

Many DOD contractors in the middle east and UA gets good business from these people. The pax load from KWI is impressive for a service that is less than 1 year old.

It seems the travel agents push this flight, but we have noticed they tend to add a surcharge, so most of us just go to the website and get an e-ticket

Dubai is the next International route. DOT has already spelled it out in April 2007 UAL applied for the route and maybe a single flight nonstop from washington to DUBAI with all the growth and the new palms being built there. United wants to add into the water with Delta who flies there now.
We should be hearing anytime soon the new route and KWI going daily also. We need AIRPLANES
