Agreed. If he and his ilk had their way we would be living like Amish. We would dress our children like the Amish as he has apparently done.

I don't think we would EVER see the Santorums of the world display the amount of heart centered forgiveness and love that the Amish live every day and we saw on display several weeks ago.

The Amish taught this country and the world a marvelous lesson. They showed us all what Christianity really means and just "What Would Jesus Do." Sadly, I doubt many "Christians" got the message.

The ONLY thing Santorum has in common with the Amish is their penchant for fashion trends that are a century old.

Unfortunately, if we practiced Christianity in the Amish fashion instead of smiting our trespassors, the Christian religion would have disappeared centuries ago. We would all be praying towards Mecca if this were the case. The Ottoman Empire extended well into Austria at one time and they had every intention of controlling the whole of Europe. Imagine if all the European kings and emperors decided to turn the other cheek and love their neighbors.

I could be wrong but I think the Willow Grove complex is smaller then the existing site at PHL.

I recall something like 8,000 acres, but I could be wrong. Anyway, there is a ton of land surrounding the NAS unlike PHL. Governments can grab all the land they want these days.

No. I just try to live my religion rather than wear it on my sleeve. I rarely do it well (like right now, for instance) but at least I know what I'm doing wrong!

The Amish are a great example of living their Christianity, though. They got the message that THINGS don't matter as much as compassion and respect for others; even if it means appearing archaic and strange to the rest of us. I suspect Jesus would have felt right at home with them, though.

So the existing Willow Grove complex is about half the size of PHL.
