Crew Meals

The big joke of the day on CNN news is that Delta crews will not longer get crew meals. So just curious do US crews still get them ?

F/A's and Pilots get them on Transoceanic flights only (unless the pilots still get them on the domestic international flights down to the islands).

I saw that this morning, they said we should bring our lunch. If only I was home every day, I could make one! Instead I have to buy food at the airport, if there is time to stop, if not, it's pretzels for 10 hours!

At least on the 737, we no longer get them. Of course, we go no further internationally than NAS so far.

Long gone are the days where a Piedmont crew would bemoan over the ops frequency: You're not boarding this flight until we get our meal vouchers!!!

Now THAT'S high comedy!

There is a lot of feeding that crews are required to eat each day at U, but it ain't no crew meal, and if you had a "nutrition facts" label, it would have a single ingredient. 😉

To this day I am not able to enjoy a Monte Cristo because of past crew meals. And, remember the salads? What was the 'chia pet' crap on top anyway? Memories....
