Cwa Snap Backs

Just a topic starter. The CWA filed a grievance for the Cust. Service reps to get the snap backs in there contract. These snap backs will put our wages back where they should be and all the other things we gave away.

Now I wonder how they will spin this.

It's so sad to think that anyone really ever believed them. If you stayed believing that they could turn themselves around, I'm so sorry you bought into their carny act. Like you really expected them to honor their contracts with anyone????....IIDLIC (If I Didn't Laugh, I'd Cry).

😀 Wishful thinking! It would be nice though if they could at least unfreeze the 2 year locked in rate for senior "legacy" agents and move us up a step, to the raise we're due in 2007. 😉

Just curious - does IAM snap back too?

Could be a bargaining chip, drop the snap back language and get some that calls for mainline agents to work 70 and 90 seat RJ’s. Would save a lot of cities from going mainline express.

Does anyone know why they had to file a grievance? Did the company officially say "no" we will not honor that part of the contract?

Thanks for all the replies.

My opinion is that. I find it hard to believe that this was not addressed in BK but none the less it is there and legally I don’t see how they get around it seeing that we are not in BK any more with no help from a judge. So we will see.

I would negotiate 19hr double time back and one week vacation and the rest to return in 2011.
