Another very sad story. The massive 2003 concessions are taking a serious toll on everyone, except of course management, which apparently have had their "shared sacrifice" restored in spades (I'm talking levels 1 thru 6, we all know about the Upper levels  ). I have learned from a low level management person their "upgraded" pay scale and raises have been implemented since last year. You pull...while we win.
Nearly everyone I know with a family and a mortgage not in management is working two jobs, including a working spouse. The constant strain is causing divorces and separations.....mostly over money and deteriorating family life because no one is ever home. I guess some see no hope for improvement, and sadly end their suffering..... forever.
I have attended two funerals in the past year for friends and co-workers that have ended it all. Its hard to look at kids who don't understand what happened to daddy, and grieving family members who tell of hardships and the toll it has taken on them. Very disturbing to say the least. I wish Jim Little could have attended the services, to see what his lies have done.
EAP with AA is not to be trusted or used in many opinions including mine, your problems will be used against you if or when needed. Never devulge any more personal information to a corporation like AA than necessary. Better off seeing a private doctor.
I hope David is in a better place. May god have mercy on his sole.
