Concerning management bonuses. At TAESL they gave us the wrong presentation and showed us the wages for both the unionized work force and management.
Now that's great..

Union wages for the year was 12.7 million, management wages was 3.7 million and management bonuses was 2.6 million. Which equals just about half of union wages even though they only compromise less then 1/4 of the workforce. Shared sacrifice yea right.

Considering that management is outnumbered by the union workforce at Taesl by about a 5 to 1 margin, but yet only lags in wages by a 2 to 1 margin, proves there is no shared sacrifice.

Look out Dis, your going to be accused of having a "personal agenda" or being "non-factual" by indicating there is no management shared sacrifice. The TAESL meeting must have been a set up, disinformation and lies to get the workers angry, which promotes the "pull together, win together" premise. 🙄 🙄

The funny part was they did not realize they gave us the wrong presentaton until the end. Sorts like ooops cats outta the bag now.I dont really care if Rolls management gets bonuses thats their business but AA management at taesl getting bonuses is unacceptable.

Why is it OK for the Rolls management? Aren't they're earning their bonuses off the backs of TWU employees.

Are the managers/supervisors at TAESL considered TAESL employees? Not to split hairs, but there are employees of American Beacon and AA Credit Union who also got bonuses for their performance. IIRC, they didn't take the pay cuts in 2003 because they weren't AA employees (similar to how Eagle employees didn't get cuts, either).

Perhaps if TAESL wasn't considerd a bid position by the TWU, the employees working TAESL wouldn't have had cuts and/or would be receiving profit sharing based on their P/L?

How incompetent are these clowns? Letting damaging information about huge bonuses after massive industry leading twu concessions and contract negotiations looming? Smooth move. 🙄

I can only imagine the blank stare when the geniuses discovered the major hiccup. "Ahhhh... why is everybody so mad"???

Don't worry TAESL will soon be a non-bid position and TAESL employees will no longer be part of American Airlines. Only thing is TAESL employee wages will be cut down to be "best in class" and the TWU will let it happen, because the TWU will still get the dues money. I'll bet all you management types will rejoice when TAESL workers get their pay and benefits cut even further, won't you.

I am not an employee of Rolls and neither is the supplied AA management. AA signs our paychecks. There are no Taesl employees we are either AA or Rolls.Rolls management wasnt saying we are all in this together while preparing secret retirement accounts for 46 of their top management.Yes the labor is supplied by AA therefore all AA management should be denied bonuses until the unionized workforce is made whole again. If Taesl ever shuts down I go back to the hangars.AA hangars. Rolls can pay their management personell whatever they want I have no control over that and they made no promises to the unionized workforce as AA management did. The fist step is to rid ourselves of the twu and get rid of the bubbalivers in office.

The beauty of doing nothing is that you can do it perfectly. Only when you do something is it almost impossible to do it without mistakes. Therefore people who are contributing nothing to society except their constant criticisms can feel both intellectually and morally superior.

Just my "measly" 2 cents worth guys/gals, but I'm suggesting that we take the (Valid) bonus Issues to another thread.

This one (sadly) was due to the sad Death of David Diaz.
