Of course, the merger's signature failure has involved pilot seniority integration. It is important to remember that a divisive 2007 arbitrator's ruling was not the airline's fault. In fact, management has sought to stay as far as possible from the ruling, a tar baby that gums up anyone who touches it.

BTW did you catch the part about being worried about seniority? Why would he worry? If DOH is the gold standard and the east is convinced it will be DOH what is there to worry about?

Why would he care about doing the seniority inside or outside or seniority? DOH does not look at the BK status right!

Nicolau and the APA list, the only fight is going to be what ratio is used.

If there ever was a time for a US Airways pilot, East or West, to tell the Offices and BPR what he thinks concerning this merger and our negotiations regarding an MOU, NOW IS THAT TIME.
The BPR is literally “reading the tea leaves” as to whether to allow you to vote on the MOU or not. If you have an opinion on this issue you need to tell the BPR and officers NOW!

If only you could get the UCC and management to agree that a merger really does not mean a merger.

That assets are keep separate just to keep the pilots happy. A merger means everything is merged. Just like a marriage That old creepy lamp you have had since college gets tossed and the crash pad is gone. You have to accept some of her stuff.

BTW speaking of attrition the AA guys would love to keep you east pilots off their very large attrition about double what you have.

Stupid and gullible have a pretty solid place in our past. Just because I acknowledge our situation for what it is you label me a west pilot. You're obviously one of our angrier pilots and there's nothing I can say to change that. It's because of the emotional pilots like you that we're working under LoA 93, an injunction, and the umbrella of Niclau. As for lawyers, we've wasted more in litigation with less to show than the west. We were promised DoH was going to be a non-issue and here we are years later. Still nothing with LoA 93 pay

Really, angry pilots voted in favor of LOA 93? You are trying to say Bill voted for LOA 93, and you didn't (if you are even a pilot rather than a poser).

Sounds like you are having a little memory lapse... LOA 93 passed because a majority of pilots exhibited an emotion... but it wasn't anger, it was fear, trepidation, and limpitis.

Now is your chance to regain some credibility.... did the company appeal or is the appellant court just making up dates for fun?

The angry, emotional East majority have made it clear that they prefer LOA 93 to the Nicolau Award and a better contract.
