Oh goody, I was going to avoid the PHL election, but since you bring it up....Just like the CLT reps, Paul is a good guy and probably great to fly with. He was also MORE than qualified to work ON the NAC, but not as its Chair. In fact, he lost the chair for not being able to "work well and play with others." Gary waited too long to replace him, much too long. Paul is not an ALPA lover, and is a strong supporter of USAPA. Unfortunately he chose to enrich himself for four years under LOA 95, as did Parrella and Brennen. The rest of USAPA shunned that horrible document, Paul always insisted, being very junior, that he be paid to the monthly cap. Not a good role model for a future USAPA rep. Paul was unable to ever close any deal, not even a generous offer of Union Space Positive travel from the Company early on.. He was NO, NO, NO over a few small points, and the union has suffered ever since. He simply became the face of our Union's unrealistic requests to be made whole, wanting a deal worth over 1B the first year. Was never going to happen, no matter how much we deserved or wanted it. Right now Paul is embarrassing himself, making this MOU about Hummel. This is NOT a cram down, but our negotiated ticket to being part of the deal. Nobody gets it more that our NAC, BPR, Legal, and Officers. Nobody gets it less than Paul. I say stick with the guy that finally brought you a deal to vote on, that would be Jamie Weidner. Greeter
