That does not explain hoe you get to DOH.
There is no way the APA want DOH. DOH places 85% of the east pilots in the top 50% of the combined list.
DOH places 2500 east pilots (77.1%) with 2500 american pilots in the first 5000 (28.5%).
DOH places 5950 american pilots in the bottom 8600 (69%) and only 560 east pilots in the bottom 8600 (6.5%). Essentially stapling a majority of american pilots to the bottom half of the combined list.
In what universe do you think APA is going to allow that to happen?
LOS would not change those number much.
Not using the Nicolau sure trip to court.
Use the Nicolau no extra negotiations needed. The US Airways pilots are evenly distributed through the combined list.

I'm not saying they have a chance of DOH, but remember who will be representing us if it goes to arbitration. It won't be Leonidas etc., it will be USAPA. So in the arbitration it will be the arbiters, APA, and good ole' USAPA. Of course USAPA could try and make a deal with APA (outside arbitration) throwing the west under the bus. USAPA may enjoy liability and lawsuits, but I don't think the APA would go for it, nor the company.
