The low information voters prefer to stay that way. It helps excuse away their vote for 93, and keeps them comfortably numb.
Whaaaaaaat?

You mean to say that there are east pilots that are uninformed and have low to no information???? I thought that usapa was going to be the ultimate information union. That everyone was going to be plugged in and completely informed.

Is that the excuse for delaying the implementation of the Nicolau? Low information voters. Costing everyone 10's of thousands of dollars.

Will that be the excuse for demanding DOH far beyond an reasonable expectation? The east pilots just din't know?

USAPA Secretary Treasurer Update to the Charlotte Pilots: January 11, 2013

The USAPA Secretary Treasurer has received recall petitions for Domicile Chairman Bill McKee, Vice Chairman Steve Crimi, and Vice Chairman DeWitt Ingram. After review of these petitions, the requirements of the USAPA Constitution and By-Laws Article IV, Section 7 have been met. The Ballot Certification Committee has been instructed to begin the Official Balloting of the Members of the Charlotte Domicile as soon feasible.

Rob Streble
Secretary-Treasurer
Let the games begin.

I have a few questions:

1. The vast majority of the recent BPR meeting was in "closed session" and covered by a NDA with strict SEC implications if the NDA is violated. How does Bill know what happened in the meeting and is there a confidentiality violation here?

2. If Bill's comments are true who violated confidentiality and why is Bill propogating confidential information?

3. Could Bill's comments potentially disrupt the proposed merger because certain members of the BPR violated confidentiality and then Bill knowingly wrote information from a "closed session" meeting?

4. Who did the E&FA evaluation that said we left $200 million on the table? Where is the report? What does Bill know that APA, APA's advisers, USAPA's Officers, the DCA Reps, the PHX Reps, PHL Rep Jamie Wiedner, and USAPA's advisers not know?

5. According to Bill, "The reason I'm not surprised that this information is being kept from us is that that the DCA Representatives Joe Stein and Pete Dugstad along with the PHX Representatives and PHL Rep Jamie Weidner voted to approve the original MOU and send this substandard MOU back to the pilots for a vote to approve it. They wanted a deal at all costs no matter how bad this MOU was. They were backed by Gary Hummel, Steve Bradford and the NAC along with our attorneys. They all said the company needed this deal and this was the best we would get." How does Bill know this confidential information?

6. Is Bill's email more about union politics, intentionally misleading the pilots, the CLT Rep Recall, Paul DiOrio's attempt to replace Jamie Wiedner in PHL effort than anything else? If the CLT Reps remain in office and Diorio/like minded people like Brian Pflanzer and paul Music win the PHL Rep Election would the new RC6 recall Gary Hummel, put Tracy Parella back on the Grievance Committee, and have Mike Cleary and Randy Mowrey replace Wayen Siemer and Jess Pauley on the Merger Committee, and replace NAC members? Me thinks so...How could this effect the proposed merger and MOU?

That was fast. Truly embarrassing and right on schedule. This is how it goes just before we get the hammer dropped on us.

Subject: Notice of Intent to vacate Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) Importance: High
Rob,

By way of this email, I am formally notifying you that I am informed by my Charlotte pilots that a recall of my position as a USAPA BPR member may commence soon.
Should you initiate a recall of my elected position while the Non Disclosure Agreement is still in effect, I will be harmed by not being able to properly defend myself.
With respect to the foregoing, I hereby notify you I will vacate my decision to support the NDA and will defend myself by all available means should a recall commence while the NDA is in effect.
If I do not have binding commitment today to delay a recall until after the NDA is terminated, I shall notify the company of same by 5:00 pm EST, January 9, 2013.
Govern yourself accordingly.

Gentlemen,
We have received your messages concerning the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
This letter is to notify you that you do not have any right to unilaterally terminate or violate the Non-Disclosure Agreement. The NDA was executed after consultation with the members of the BPR, you among them. It was necessary for USAPA to agree to the NDA in order to participate in the discussions and negotiations that led to the MOU which the BPR approved. The NDA is in the meaning of the NDA.
The USAPA General Counsel has informed me that any action by you or anyone else bound by , will subject USAPA to substantial liability and could result in the revocation of the MOU which was reached under its terms. Furthermore, our organization will not tolerate any attempt to be taken hostage by your actions, threats and demands.
I take our responsibility under the NDA seriously and will take whatever steps are necessary to protect the interests of the Union and our members and to insure that this Union does not violate the NDA. I trust that this letter is perfectly clear that you are required to continue to hold all matters covered by the NDA strictly confidential unless and until the NDA is lifted by the mutual agreement of US Airways, American Airlines, the UCC and USAPA. I must inform you that any action such as described in your emails to the USAPA Secretary/Treasurer on January 9, 2013, would be an intentional breech of your fiduciary duty to this Union and you will be held fully responsible for your actions.
Sincerely,
Gary Hummel President

I personally think Bill's numbers are misleading and he's attempting to get everyone riled up. Look what another poster did here - added another $100M or so to the value. Last gasps as this thing starts to wind down.

For the record....are you talking about Bill M or Bill G? The letter posted here earlier was not written by McKee.
thx

This is total political spin, boys and girls! Chip is the editor and is pushing the recall of McKee.

You go ahead there Mr. Ingram. Open your mouth.

He would find himself looking for a job a multi million dollar law suit from some very intense people with a lot of money and great lawyers.

Really? Is being a rep so important that he would violate his word? Oh wait I forgot who I was talking about an east pilot. They can't keep their word on anything. Before anyone starts screaming about the NDA doesn't apply because he didn't sign anything. Yes he did. Put his name on the dotted line binding (there is that word) him to the NDA.

Those who led the charge for LOA 93 appear to be getting revved up. The APA pilots knew what to do with the cupcakes.

It's ironic the ones who started the recall based it on supposed "secret information hiding" and now they are the ones voting to hide information.

The caped maurader is trying to jump in front again and declare himself a leader, to everyone's applause.
