Hmmm, a disparaging remark from someone just removed from their position. Yea, I should give that a lot of consideration, certainly more than the NAC members and attorneys I listened to.

Fair enough Bill. I'll just suggest doing a comprehensive reading of the document/MOU yourself.

The ALPA agreements were always full of holes. (ie. The rates will become unfrozen...) we can't even get the 3%.

Exactly. In the sad case of LOA93..well...Was there really any doubt as to the orignial intent being to restore wage rates at a given time? Wasn't the arbitration lost due to the pathetically inept and entirely inadequate language within the instrument it's self?

We should file a grievance for the 3%. Maybe even put an expedite on it.

Don't fret. If this MOU's accepted....you'll have plenty of things to arbitrate, even more than can clearly be now imagined by many.

I've read every word, some more than once. There is a lot that is really bad, and a lot that is really good. To me, the good far outweighs the bad, and I'm hoping that a 14,000 member strong union can fix some of the weaknesses in this MOU in the JCBA phase. Let's face it, everything is going to be way different than we're used to, from scheduling to benefits. That's going to happen no matter what. No amount of huffing, puffing and no votes will change that.

You reasonably observe that such behavior is typical of tempe,.....yet you're thrilled with signing on to an agreement that's so full of holes that it'd make any competing swiss cheese blush, slink away and hide in shame?
Which law school is your degree from and where did you get your special training in negotiations and contract law? Tell me how your view of this document is superior to that of Roland Wilder, our General Council and our Merger Council? I want you to back up your statements with the qualifications to support your arguments.

No.

Some of the ALPA Reps at the time said to vote no because there was no wage snap back.

The arbitration was another wild goose chase.

Paul DiOrio did an in depth study of the DAL and UAL pay rates as part of his function as Chairman of the Negotiating Committee before Gary Hummel fired him at the behest of the company.

A careful study by him shows that pay rates after 1/1 2016 and beyond that the NAC is now showing are substantially wrong and will be substantially lower than they are telling people based on comparing Group 2 aircraft (B737-800 and the A-320) with DAL and UAL parity rates.

No one knew more about these negotiations, the pay rates and the pitfalls than Paul. Unfortunately, that was why he was removed. It made it that much easier for the Company and Gary Hummel to reach this flawed, vague and sometimes misleading agreement and to try to pass it off to us. Now, more than ever before we need someone in office that will navigate us through this mess.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the president of the Bill McKee fan club!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for this to pass so I can throw it up in your face. LOL!!!

This MOU is going to pass by a land slide. The extremely vocal nut job minority is well represented here. The fun is just beginning.

Just how long do you think we'll be under this MoU? And where is your better plan? Haven't heard much about it.

I think he will have to talk to Munn and Walmartgreeter first, it was funny today went in and out of CLT a few times also had a jumpseat rider, Munn and his group of ALPO recall rejects are not too well liked from what the boys are saying, go figure what a group of losers.
This group has a whole different agenda from the rest of the normal ones here sounds like they will fail on the recall, which is nice!!! PS Paul knows more about this MOU than anyone I would listen to him if I were you.
So you think that a guy that was NOT in the room or negotiating table during an NDA knows more than the guys that were in the room.

More FUD more lies from a proven liar.
