"Bragging rights" GREETER, Do you think I expect you not to vote your "SELF INTEREST", you have nothing but yours to guide you, But when, "YOUR SELF INTEREST" goes to play into the moral and economic issues of DUI DOUG, yea I have a problem with rest of the issues, your self serving, but I give you credit for admitting it, I am self serving to the pilots and the path I have chosen, so be it, when you limit your opyions in life, what you get is , limited options, BTW luv that line in WALLSTREET" Where were you when you know you sold out"!

On this vote, on the issues at hand, it is indeed all about me and my family. No quibbling here. I think I have been consistant on this forum, that the real decision here was indeed individual, and based on each person's perceptions of how it will affect their family and career. I guess that is self serving, but based on the political track record of this pilot group, its my only rational option.
Take care,

Greeter

I not following you, can you dumb that down a little for me?

Bates took a powder when the "first" last best offer was turned down by the APA pilots. Don't know the internal politics of how that went down, but he returned to the line and Keith Wilson took over.

Oh. BTW, a new CLT Domicile Report just came out. They claimed they weren't trying to sway your vote, but every reference to the MOU was negative, including this:
Almost every day since that “deadline” has passed one or more grave problems have been revealed in the MOU and the APA Green Book contract that the BPR had no prior knowledge of.
The list includes:
  1. Pay rates originally published for 2016 and beyond were inaccurate, although the NAC subsequently sent out a correction with the accurate rates.
  2. Health insurance premiums, while in line with United and Delta, nevertheless cost more and have high deductibles.
  3. The loss of survivor benefits after 5 years.
  4. Contract language throughout that, although approved and written by our Professional Negotiator and other counsels, our Grievance Chairman says would be difficult to enforce.

I thought #4 was particularly interesting since it appears that our Grievance Chairman's total focus is hearing himself talk and being important. He certainly hasn't "won" anything of any consequence. He spent over 20 minutes at one meeting I was at trying to convince the group that we should hire more lawyers and pursue legal action to have COC language that clearly expired last year put back in force...somehow. I'm not taking out my checkbook.

[font=Arial']#2 and #3 were front and center, they knew exactly the facts on day one of meeting. As to #4 I personally believe the language is much better than LOA 93, but by no means perfect. As to #1 I think we should fire the entire NAC, as they undervalued the rates on the 190.

I will ask of this forum for a third time tonight. If the CLT and PHL reps were so pressured, and so unsure, why did they not roll call the vote and STOP this? I will answer, because they want it both ways. Look at the little Gillies, stayed away from the meeting for THREE days saying he was in C/O development school. He avoided a vote, and now is crowing he is glad to be leaving the job. Give me a break. Really.

Hence my TIC comment on how I would vote earlier.

I know, that's what I told PHX when I asked him if he could point out where Parker said he did need relief as I saw him say the opposite. And the mechanics lost a grievance on the C of C in our merger. And he attempted a merger with DL without trying to get relief on C of C. And I've heard nothing of him trying to get relief from the mechanics on their current C of C.

I don't know what should amuse me more, the fact you put so much interest in my opinion or that you tacitly accept Parker's words during a non-attribution crew news.

I suspect the CLT reps voted in favor of the MOU because they believed many pilots could forgive them for only forcing retro pay under threat of recall as part of a passive set of officers and BPR collegues, but would not likely be forgiven for singularly using their power to prevent pilots from voting on an MOU, even as weak as it is. Everyone knows who is responsible for it and the recent recall results and the vote in PHL reveal that.
