I haven't seen the breakout of costs but I'm sure the vast majority is fuel related. Yes, you are right that the pilots couldn't have moved the numbers much against such high fuel prices but the pilot costs are expected to be long-term while the fuel spike was pretty short term (the reporting period represented the time when fuel prices were at their highest). I believe airlines will continue to face price shocks like what we saw post-Katrina but the costs will have to compensate for them long-term. The $37M in pilot savings becomes much more meaningful when it becomes a year round savings; the 6 week price shock and the pilot concession request are of reasonably similar amounts.
