Delta Supports US AA Merger?

The US customer is smart, and more than likely has little regard for all the bells and whistles and fan fare of the BA or Emirates customer. In short the US customer just wants to get to destination safely, hopefully on time and with a little cash left over.

US is not trying to be all things to all people. Every employee at US understands this and will seldom argue about how wonderful our service is because we know ourselves and the nature of our customer. We provide the best service with what we have to work with and if the customer does not understand that then perhaps they should look for a new public conveyance from point A to B.

I understand what you are saying. US is fine for me to CLT, DCA, PHL or even PHX but much beyond that no way. You are right, you can't be all things to all people and looking at the markets US serves its understandable that they have the smallest premium cabin space.

Funny US has been in the top tier of rankings and making money, even won the airline quality award, has AA?

You make comments and dont back them up with facts, how do you know how good or bad envoy is when you never flew it?

Exactly, and in spite of that they seem to operate the fleet well and profitably. Every merger that DL has taken on has left them with a largely mixed fleet. I believe that NW gave them the widest range of a mixed fleet, with the 757 being the only common type.

US is showing better seat pitch and more room on their planes in Business/First on the widebodies.
 
You don't seem to get it. Foreign carries have better first and business offerings. AA, DL, UACO all offer superior business class products on their 757s than USAir. I'd rather fly LH and have good wines to drink, better food, more attentive cabin service, better entertainment, better airport lounges and an overall better experience.

And why would you post a video that clearly shows its about America West and not US Airways and say US sucks?

If you havent flown US in First or Envoy on comparable flights on AA, DL or UA, then how can you say anything about US?

Not is was about US, see the title and listen to what the people had to say. The film was from 2007, USAir merged with America West in 2005, lol. You make this too easy.

For the last time, I don't need to fly Envoy to see how pathetic it is. And I have flown US First class several times and it's nothing special. Many of the flights don't have real glassware and only offer snack basket service. My flight to PHX had standard airline food about on par to DL or UA but it was nothing special that I can assure you of.

So you are comparing newer planes that are widebodies to an older narrow body plane.

Ahhh, the BAC111s'. The queen of the fleet back in the day. Some were purchased from AMR and some from Braniff. Those planes were mortgage free. Any flight with 25 or more was pure profit. US used those profits to grow and become THE launch customer for the 737-300 back in the day.

I understand why I post on here because of my own financial interests. But, I don't get why you care one iota about US as you are a non interested party. So once again F' off.
