Bears....than God you had the implant so that rescue workers could easily locate you. And these antivaxers were saying that chip was a bad thing.
Having worked with HIPAA as long as it has been around - if a movie theater or restaurant asks to see proof of a vaccine and you don't want to provide it - citing HIPAA would get you nowhere. They would simply say "have a nice day" as they turned you away. NOW...if the restaurant called your doctor and asked if you had been vaccinated, THEN HIPAA would help you out. Medical providers can't release details without consent - but if you are requested to show it and don't, then you don't get in. That's life.Who know whether or not anyone received a vaccination....especially if they offered it.

according to the CDC, vaccinated people can be carriers also.Glad you made it through OK.
Amazing the collective ignorance of people insisting on the freedom to infect others
Not having anything to do with your original statement:Anyone can ask, if you refuse to answer and don't get let in to an establishment, HIPAA isn't a free pass.

Never said anything about citing HIPPA. Said it was none of anybodies business here, other than myself and my provider.Having worked with HIPAA as long as it has been around - if a movie theater or restaurant asks to see proof of a vaccine and you don't want to provide it - citing HIPAA would get you nowhere. Do you think it's right for doctors, businesses, corporations and social and private entities to discriminate against the unvaxed?Having worked with HIPAA as long as it has been around - if a movie theater or restaurant asks to see proof of a vaccine and you don't want to provide it - citing HIPAA would get you nowhere. Since my kid is working at the places where they bring the people with the Delta variant....and since my kid goes home to my grandkid, who can't get the vaccine yet, then yes...I think it's within their rights to turn away unvaccinated people. Many places have a sign "no shirt, no shoes, no service". Is that discrimination against the shirtless and shoeless? One slight change and I'm okay...no shirt, no shoes, no vaccination - no service. It's not a liberal or conservative....republican or democrat issue - it's a public health issue.Do you think it's right for doctors, businesses, corporations and social and private entities to discriminate against the unvaxed?
HIPAA still isn't a a free pass. Turn off the radio. Not having anything to do with your original statement:
