Did American's lawyers ruin terrorist's trial?

What I'm looking for is where it says AA an UAL lawyers directly spoke to wintesses in the Moussoui trial.
I haven't seen anything that states that AA and UAL spoke directly, rather they spoke through their "friend," Carla Martin.

Well if that's the case then they can hardly be accused of "witness tampering".

I haven't really followed that story, but if the CNN article that was posted is correct, and that's always a big "if," the e-mails back and forth between the airline attorney's and Martin could be rather damaging.

The e-mails back and forth are irrelevant if the AA and UAL attorneys never spoke directly to any of the witnesses.

Safe and secure in a cell 23 hours a day let out for one hour for excercise. No contact with other prisoners, meals given to him through a slot.

Well, they've had that chance with Richard Reid and Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, yet nobody has said boo, probably because we're not like France or other countries who roll over at the slightest hint of a threat.
