Someone has to stay here and fight and try to improve the terrible working conditons. I tell my friends that have low senority to get out while they can. But for us old ones we know what a wonderful company this was and can be again but right now its very good. Yes we have wonderful F/A but the service the lam a$$ company gives us to work with is deplorable. but hopefully someone will come and rescue us back to a full fledge airline.

I really can't imagine being someplace for 23 years and being that miserable. Just like being in a bad marriage for 23 years for the sake of the kids I guess. But having worked around the likes of you, who depress the cr.p out of people when they walk in a room, I guess that's your lot in life. To be miserable, complain and make those around you miserable as well. You still have medical, you may want to try anti-depressants.

oh it was a happy place the first 10 yrs at PI. and happy 5-6 yrs after the yankees came. but since UsAir came in and put the entire operation in the $hitter it hasnt been so nice. plus all you punch drinking wineos who have no idea how it is to work for a great airline. Thats why I hope DL stayes away they dont need our pi$$ poor managment to suck the life out them too.

It's all what you make of it. I was with Eastern for 20, Trump Shuttle and others. It's your choice if you want to adapt or let it eat you up or leave. Has US Air had bad management ? No doubt. But all you're doing is making yourself miserable. Have the employees had to make the most of the least. No contest...absolutely. But geez man don't let it consume you.

Let me guess....pilot? I think I flew with you last week. You looked so defeated, so beaten down, so tired, as you slung your bags carelessly into the flight deck and asked me for a diet coke and a trash bag, all with a half scowl, half smile. I pitied you for a moment, and then boarding began....

This was a great airline, at one time. Why can't we stay strong, stand firm, and demand the improvements in the contracts that we deserve? I would NEVER let anyone, especially USAir, suck the actual life outta me.... GO get 'em, tiger!
