The DOT approved US's codeshare with Spanair, a member of the Star Alliance.
US will place its US code on Spanair flights between MAD and BCN, AGP (Malaga), PMI (Palma de Mallorca).
Spanair will place its JK code on PHL-MAD and on flights between PHL and ATL, BOS, BWI, DCA, DEN, DFW, IAH, LAS, LAX, LGA, MCO, MIA, MSP, MSY, ORD, PHX, PIT, SAN, SEA, SFO, SJU.
Look for an announcement in the near future from US as to the start date of the codeshare flights, frequent flyer cooperation, etc.
