I no longer see an E Class on transcons. The E is not listed at all, not just 0 seats. This is the bucket I sometimes use when upgrading to First using miles. Does anyone know what is happening? I probably missed some announcement. Thanks

1) Could be another website issue
2) Could be to align with the HP system (upgrades are done in O class)

I've been off a couple days so there may have been a memo on it (or not?). Anyone else have ideas?

E inventory is still an available booking code in Sabre...if not in advance, any leftover F seats in inventory turn into E or O at exactly 1 hour prior to departure.

E=upgrade from a discount excursion or govt fare.

P=upgrade from Y or B type coach fares (full fare).

O=first class domestic/carribean/canada award ticket.

R=transatlantic envoy upgrade from purchased economy fare.

I=transatlantic envoy award ticket.

PBI2FLL is correct...E are in Sabre..but not in SHARES ( HP SYSTEM ) I am in training for SHARES this week, and SHARES does not have E just O.....

Thats interesting. I thought per the GSA City Pairs contract that gov't fares were to be treated as full Y tickets in all respects. It seems from the definition of "E" tickets they are treated as low fare tickets with respect to upgrades.
