Why haven't any E190 routes been loaded in the system yet?! The first delivery should be within the next week or two and they are supposed to be in service next month, yet there is absolutely no sign of them being uploaded in the system/schedule. What is the deal? We haven't even found out the routes they will be flying. Even if they don't end up getting them in service by the end of December, the January schedule has been set and there are no signs of them. How do they expect to start filling up the planes if they aren't even going to start selling the seats until less than a month before they enter service?

Is there something wrong with the E190s? Are the deliveries delayed? Anyone have any real info on the routes yet? I have heard BDL,PVD,IAH,DFW, etc., but can anyone actually confirm any of these cities? It's getting really late, and I simply can't believe that we know nothing about these planes yet!

There were some delivery delays from Embraer. The company (US) has been reluctant to load any schedule without a minimum of at least 3 frames with at least one assigned as a backup.

Everyone is anxious but they are coming just a few months behind schedule. Expect March or April to be the first month with March more likely.

Wow, I know Embraer had some problems with the 190 and 190 production ramp up, but I didn't know it was that extreme. I thought I saw in the About US that the first model was almost assembled (it was painted, had it's wings...appeared close to completion) and it stated that it may not start until January (it said something like "the first thing next year" if I remember correctly). But March or April  . I was hoping a lot sooner than that.

Does anyone who has done E190 training want to talk about their experiences?

The first group of pilots should be finished soon, if some are not already. I think the first plane is due some time in December. Keep in mind, once this aircraft arrives, it must be approved for the AAA Operating Certificate. That includes proving runs and other things for the FAA. I was told the first month of revenue service would be extra segments and sub flights only. So if we get the aircraft in December and finish proving runs etc in that month, Then Jan. should see revenue service, although none scheduled. That would mean Feb. should see the start of scheduled service... Either way, it's not far of at this point.

The e190 is under the same certificate as the e170. Therefore it will be ready to go as soon as it arrives on the property No proving tests, etc. are required.

Does US still have the E-170 on its certificate or is it Republic's?

Although US doesn't currently operate any e-Jets, they are still on the east operating certificate. That's why they came to the east and not the west.

I called the training department to reschedule mu 190 training from Nov and was asked if I wanted to reschedule it for after the holiday when i inquired that I thought all PHL F/A had to be trained by the end of DEC I was told that the plan wouldn't be on line until the March schedule and was offered a jan or feb training class.

Actually a smart move. Why rush it into service during December with the holidays uopn everyone. Wait until Jan/Feb during a slow period to break it in. Every new fleet type has it's quirks, whether you have flown a sister model or not.

Based on what I have heard there are actually 2 lines of flying on the Feb schedule which is not yet in Sabre and not finalized yet.

We were told this was not true. It's true the 190 is the same type as the 170, but in order to not have to do additional proving runs and such, the type had to be added within 6 months. That did not happen. However, the proving runs do not have to be the full program. They are reduced to only 60 hrs. At least that what I was told...

So it looks like they were finally loaded into the system for February and early March.

So far it looks like this:

PHL - PVD,BOS,DFW,MHT,BDL

Boston will get 2 dailies and it looks like the rest will just get 1X daily.
I think I remember all of these being discussed as the potential cities, with the possible exception of MHT (I can't exactly remember, though. Maybe it was)
No IAH for now, but possibly as more come online.

Can you give a few dates/routes as examples that you see the usairways.com website listing 190 flights? I can't seem to find any!

Its looks like both of the 190s will overnight in PHL initially. There are also a few E175 routes loaded into the schedule. PHL-IAH gets 1 E175 and both of the PHL-DFW E170s go to E175s.
