It's called a merger. More change and unknowns and instability in an already unstable environment. I've learned a lot on this board and it's good to hear other people's opinions. Heck, it's actually amusing at times too. You can even make some new friends too. So it's not all bad.......there are some good debates and some good information put out there. You just got to take it all with a 5 pound bag of salt.

Why do some think that the West is so highly favored out here? Money is being spent to improve PHL; routes are being added out of PHL to Europe. East is getting hte E190's. Where exactly do you see favoritism towards the West?
I thinks its natural when you see the new corp HQ transferred to another airlines HQ and hometown to be nervous. Many jobs are being expanded at the new HQ. Also systems are being used from the Hp side. I hope it is not favortism but merging 2 airlines and taking the best from each one. When you are a dedicated employee of an airline for many years, have been through mergers that did not go well and watched jobs and pay eliminated I think its natural to be teritorial.(and extremely cautious)Hp employees also have access to corp and its hard for US employees(east) not to feel disassociated from the process.
