I worked it out on the ground that night I worked it to BRU tonight - there is now an MEL for the IFE.

ETOPS, I worked 740 on 7/6 - I didn't get to go up at all or else I would have spotted you and said hey.

I was told by engineering that there was a STC? that allowed more fuel to be carried in the same tanks.

The compress the fuel with WinZip before putting it in the tank. That's how they can hold more fuel in the same tank. Simple physics.

Actually, there is a different fuel sending unit available which allows more of the tank capacity to be considered usable fuel. US decided against installing them, however.

i am sure we will eventually see more intl destinations added now that we will have a larger transatlantic fleet with these modifications taking place.
