Now theres no more reason for rumors and gossip..Go straight to the source and share with all of us your findings....Good luck! Also adding road show information sessions! Now gather all of your information and questions...use one of the above tools and make a difference for yourself.

Instead of debating facts you try to shoot the messenger. That's a typical trait of a Demagogue.

1. Point number one is wrong because USAPA was not here then, but don't let the facts get in your way.

2. I lost the LGA election by 3 votes. If 2 people had voted differently then I would have been elected in a narrow decision. I'm not ashamed I lost and maybe a better candidate was elected. Unfortunately, I believe we live in a society in which politics has replaced philosophy and common sense.

3. I did not go to work in 92 when during the period you alluded to.

4. Maybe the RC4 and Hardliners did, but they were in charge of the union during every major failure the pilot group sustained. Certainly those who provided successes for the pilots did not.

5. Information on the UCT & ICT, which was code worded "Project Minnow" was provided to me by the investment community. Airline management is governed by confidentiality agreements and certainly don't inform employees of undisclosed plans of a major corporate transaction, which would be a SEC violation.

For more information on US Airways' fifth trip down the merger runway be successful please look at Dan Fitzpatrick's column by clicking here. Interestingly, I predicted both United merger attempts where US Airways was in discussions to acquire United twice that I called the UCT and ICT before the news became public.

When would now be a good time to admit you were wrong, again?

6. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong and I admit it. Most people cannot do that. Why? They have to admit they're wrong to them self.

Finally, I alluded to the point that you and other union activists are what I believe is a "Demagogue". Demagogues are dangerous because they believe they're always right and they can never admit they're wrong. In an article titled "Why It's Hard to Admit to Being Wrong" Social Psychologist Elliot Aronson professor emeritus, psychology, University of California Santa Cruz said, "Our brains work hard to make us think we are doing the right thing, even in the face of sometimes overwhelming evidence to the contrary." I believe Aronson's comment is the single most important factor currently holding union extremists and their supporters from choosing a new direction. Why? People have to admit they were wrong to them self, which is very hard to do.

Still doesn't alter my point in my prior post. The F/A's will figure this out and I'm here to lend my support to them and encourage them to arrive at an informed decision, whatever it may be, up to and including actions that may lead to liquidation.

Given of the 4100 pages plus of playground bickering that is the pilots thread I's gently submit that any criticism of the F/A group by a pilot would be suspect at best.

You and your "Brethren in Civility" have already lost MILLIONS due to the behavior of the Pilot group. I may or may not be the laughing stock of this board, but the entire pilot group has become the laughing stock of an entire industry. You've made lawyers rich with no result. Made the same wage for 80 plus months leaving MILLIONS in Doug Parker's back pocket and you're giving me a rough way to go?
