Well I sure hope someone calls Tempe and lets them know.![]()
OPS in PIT they said "oh no-we are running a full schedule out of DCA tomorrow" Oh really?-you are now. Interesting
Really? This is the same OCC that kept calling f/a's to staff int'l flights in 2004/2005 when PHL had over a foot of snow. The director of the PHL airport was on every station saying the airport was closed and they could barely keep one runway open for emergencies. They told us they didn't have that information and to do our best to get there. Like they couldn't get that information for their "crown jewel" airport of the system?OCC in PIT got real good over the years with managing the operation in storms like this. Now they are being directed by people who have never seen a snow plow.
yet we are still....
Just got off the 2:45pm flight NWR - CLT. Very bumpy, but on time. Still only rain here in CLT. OT, a cranky flight attendant and a rude passenger behind me with a gawd-awful Jersey accent had a shouting match about some broken piece of equipment. Happy Holidays!
Seems when calling OPS in PIT they said "oh no-we are running a full schedule out of DCA tomorrow" Oh really?-you are now.]
You're probably being facetious, but I hear the company will try to get the overnight planes out of DCA, and that's it. With the expected snowfall the airport will have a tough time getting the runway cleared even for those few flights.
I meant EWR, of course. Proof that too much dark beer can cause typos....Can You Please Explain where NWR is???????
I must have missed the Press Release about this New City.
