Discussions regarding US Airways’ term sheet proposals were held with the carrier on November 22 and 23, 2004. These discussions were exploratory in nature, but with intent to reach consensual agreements on behalf of the active and retired IAM members we represent, if possible.
December 2 is the date scheduled by the court for US Airways to appear in support of their motion to abrogate labor agreements. The IAM and US Airways will hold further discussions next week, and you will be advised as developments occur.
