Been talking to several coworkers out West who are from Canada. Seems that fleet service always has openings at YYZ as per http://www.usairways.com/employment/index.htm Questions are (1)Why do they have trouble filling those positions? (2) Does one have to be a Canadian citizen to work there?

Being Canadian, that shouldn't bother them. They seem interested in going back. If they dress right, it shouldn't be a problem.

We still have guys in PIT running around in shorts. YYZ should be easy for them.

But seriously, if they can let an Express manager in PHL live in a hotel, they certainly can do it for fleet service personnel. I'm not asking for much, as long as I like the offer, I'll go. 😀

I agree with Titan. It better be good, or the deal is off. I'm gonna need an exercise facility, a hot tub, wireless internet and access to mass transit. There's no way I am driving around Toronto in the winter!

at least if you work in Canada the goverment will not let ANY company take your pension from you...if any company does not fund there pension the canadian goverment will shut down any company to protect the employee pension...and on top of that you still have health care even if your not on a payroll...
