You asked if legal decisions should always go in the decision of those the side that causes the most problems.

It depends on what all interest parties what in the outcome. If you don't mind the situation as is and what will follow, and the damage to ALPA, the profession, and US Airways, No.
 
If there was a conspiracy to block flights into DCA, check with the pilots, they are the ones who sicked the pairings.

It's a fact jack. I dont have a need to prove anything on a message board. If you want to satisfy your curiosity, check the reports in the chief pilots office. All the documentation you crave is there.

Its summer time and we can each step up our productivity even 10% and that in itself will be a big step to turning this airline around and make it a place that we all want to come and work and show that we can improve our service.

You know what I find the most disturbing here?

All the finger pointing, who bought who, who's right, who's wrong, who was going out of business, etc., and NO ONE WANTS TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!!

The customers are leaving because FOR WHATEVER REASON US is unable to offer reliable transportation at the moment, and the forecast is not good. So keep arguing back and forth and keep fighting--cause when the last customer leaves the point will be moot........

And for what its worth IT DOESN'T MATTER which airline bought the other, and who was going bankrupt or 7 or whatever. You have a new company, which is NOT delivering reliable service--and WE will not tolerate that.

So let's get our ffocus back on how to ffix the problem shall we?

Ah yes - you have identified the real issue here.

There are so many people in the East that feel so entitled to something - what that is I'll never figure out - that they can't see the fact that there is a new company here and that the old one is long in the ground dead and buried. What happened before is history - and has no impact on what is happening today are what they are "entitled" to.

For some reason, they seem to be unable to accept that and move on. And until people can let go of that history nothing is going to change - that has always been the problem with US and is one of the main reasons it exists in name only and nothing more.

Every East pilot is better off than two years ago. Every East pilot is holding and will hold a relative position bidding-wise that is better than two years ago. The bottom gear-yankers of two years ago are no longer bottom gear-yankers. Pilots on the street two years ago are once again getting paychecks, yet Dave is still the bottom gear yanker on the West. So, the East didn't lose anything. They actually gained a lot by not having to start over at another airline. That's the way I see it, that's the way all West pilots see it, and that's the way every other legacy pilot sees it - including the Executive Committee.

On the morning of the first picketing event in CLT last November, certain morning flights from crew domiciles into CLT were strategically cancelled.
:down: And IF this THE CASE, I hope everyone realizes what a ROTTEN Management Team is running this place. Hopefully this IS NOT the case but guerrilla tactics only neccesitate bringing out BIGGER ENFORCEMENTS.

I have received 10 emails in the past hour--people are leaving, and are booking away from US. Is this what you want?

With ALL due respect to everyone at US, ANY job action which affects the customers and reliability of service is unacceptable to the customer...PERIOD....You won't be hurting management, you will be hurting yourselves in the long run.

Until someone can prove to me that it is getting better, and that I can count on getting where I need to go reliably, I will be booking elsewhere--and I have heard that at least 100 of my members will be doing the same....so if this is what you want you got it.

You know, you wanna talk about entitled? Entitled is a 1-5 year employee who thinks he/she leap ahead of those senior to them but would pitch a big ole biitch fit if anyone attempted to interfer with their time of service.
