This just keeps getting better. The House has canceled the vote for what ever bill it was that they were trying to consider. It is suspected it was because the republicans did not have enough votes (the TP's would not go for it) to pass their own bill that would never get through the Senate and would never be signed by the POTUS.

The current debate is filled with talk of fake cuts, budget gimmicks, and political stunts that both parties use to try to lay blame on each other without solving the problem.

Without your help, I'm afraid you and I will get sold down the river - and President Obama could put the Tea Party on life support.

Even as I write you, rumors are swirling fast and furious.

News reports are that Speaker Boehner is trying to ram through a deal to raise the debt ceiling by $900 billion with no real spending cuts.

This is NOT what the American people overwhelmingly elected Republicans to do in 2010.

So if the Republican leadership shrinks from this fight, they'll pay the price for this BETRAYAL at the ballot box in 2010.

That's why it's vital you urge your representative and senators to pledge to stand up and oppose backroom, business as usual deals from Speaker Boehner to raise the debt ceiling.

The good news is, your IMMEDIATE action will make an enormous impact.


The establishment is in full crisis mode.

They see their gravy train of deficit spending and pork barrel politics in jeopardy.

They see Wall Street fat cats in a full-blown panic.

They're bringing out the usual suspects to scare everyone - Geithner, Bernanke, and even Bush-era Treasury officials are being brought into secret congressional briefings to try to scare your representative and senators.

In fact, this is eerily reminiscent of something . . .

The 2008 bank bailouts.

The Republican establishment lining up to make a deal because they just don't have the backbone to fight.

The White House promising certain doom if it doesn't get its way.

Well, I fought the leadership of BOTH parties in 2008 when they bailed out Wall Street.

And I'm still fighting them today.

And I'm the only one who can stop this Washington machine because I'm not beholden to it.

But I can't win this fight without you.

I know millions of Americans share my belief that it's time to stop selling our children's futures to finance more debt.

So Congress needs to hear from each of them that they are ready to fight for fiscal responsibility.

Last year I mismanaged my funds and this year my family and I cannot decide on a budget. I think it shows the power of the Tea Party. 25 or so congress critters who can't be bought or have their arms twisted. Who see through the smoke and mirrors of the Republicrats who have no real desire to get our financial house in order.

Here's the reality of the situation and the Tea Party has this figured out. NO ONE will remember their names 10 years from now if we default. Barack Obama will be blamed as it occurred on his watch. There is no downside to them standing their ground except in calling Obama & Boehner's bluff it may not be a bluff, although I think it is.

All of this crap about 10 year saving is just that, CRAP. We need to tell the Republicrats and Demicans That this is OUR country and we will be telling you if you can borrow our children's money. The stalemate brought to a head by the tea party sends a clear message that some of us can't be bought for thirty pieces of silver.

You'd be surprised just how many do and it was interesting that on the recent house vote the Tea Party Caucus members voted 32-28 in favor of this latest screwing of the taxpayer. Their point is restriction of the size and scope of the Federal Government. Many are conservative Christians which is a bridge to far for me, so I don't identify as a member.

Their point is really the bill that passed the house known as Cut, Cap & Balance. An idea I heartily support. Two particulars of it I have a problem with and they are a Balanced budget amendment? I say no way and same for the plan to cap spending at the arbitrary figure of 18% of GDP.

The President (Even this no talent jackass) MUST have some leeway when it comes to spending and those who favor the cap of 18% of GDP forgot their history. With such a cap as a matter of law we would not have prevailed in WWII. Now the flip side is we wouldn't be in 4 shooting wars either due to cost.

In order for us to be on sound footing we have got to change the scope of the military. Republicans don't want to hear this. Ron Paul is mostly right on this point. The empire can't be afforded. Further, under Bush we had one of the biggest expansions of entitlements in years and that was Medicare part D, which is where a lot of the Bush deficits came from. Anyone who tells you that the Republicans skirts aren't dirty with debt is full of crap AND blind to the obvious. The best they can claim is that their skirt isn't as dirty.

Unless we have some economic miracle in the next 18 months Obama is toast and so are a lot of Democrats. I really think 2012 could be a blood bath for the Democrats. One primary reason is the Tea Party. Despite Biden saying they acted like terrorists, their rhetoric is getting no traction as Obama is sinking like an anchor. Even MSNBC was trashing him last night. He's lost points within his Liberal base and among independent voters he's in a world of hurt. WHY? The average Joe/Jane who draw a paycheck inherently know that if you only make $30K a year, you can't continually spend $50,000 and expect a positive outcome.
