Hey you POS scab .... was the "simple food cart" too hard for you ?? I'll have to work on something a wee bit easier for ya NEXT time !! And there WILL be a NEXT TIME!

Jen!

Say scab genius, any idea where the next Scab Air junkpile will be returning (hopefully) to the gate??? My guess is where your using the PlaytheCods practice of using a torque wrench for a pry bar.
You see how you twist shet up Hackman? At least get it right every now and then, that was the other Scab 😉 .

I'm going with ORD. I wish AA were under as much scrutiny as NWA this would be more fun on the AA board. You guys much more diversions than NWA.

Yes, there is always a next time. My all time favorite was the ashtrays and ashtray covers in the toilet. Followed up with the coffee grounds in the sinks.

My all time favorite is...is...is...wow, there's so many to choose from!

How about the taping over of overhead bins for a starter? Very Classy.

A close second will be the scab on a roadshow who didn't know where the interior (cockpit) dome light switch was on an A320.

Hey, I enjoyed taping those bins up. Especially when I got to watch the passenger,s luggage being toted down to the cargo pit that broke it.

I think it's the one that says "DOME" on it. 😉

i still like the tape on the thurst reverser on that dc10 in ams i thought that looked like a scab work but darn i didnt realize how scary it is just too look at a scab maintained plane let along fly on one

Twist it up? I'm so sorry Cods. 🙄 Was it the 4 day engine change, or the 8 blown mains on the two Scab Air 757??? What caused those blow outs again? I forgot. Some cable right? There's been so many PlaytheCods f'ups, I have trouble keeping them all in my 'Cods file.

AA has about double the aircraft Scab Air has. I also am positive the Scab Air "incidents", as are most aircraft mishaps, initially reported by the news people. Not the FAA scab boy. I think the news reports most incidents, no matter what airline. Jeeez, get it right Cods.

It was a 'bang up' night for AMS flights on 18OCT.

I can't find a press story on it, but NW42 MSP-AMS on 18OCT diverted to BOS due to MX. The flight left MSP as an A-330, but after it arrived into BOS, it was swapped to a DC-10 to complete the BOS-AMS leg and arrived into AMS about 10 hours late.

Also on 18OCT, NW34 SEA-AMS had two return to gates before finally departing SEA three and a half hours later. Of course, once airborne, it continued direct, so it doesn't count.

Thats right Hackman, double the fleet, three times the diverts and probably ten times the number of mechanics.

wow two flts one cant even leave the ground for 2 plus hrs and the other well them pax must of been scared out of their wits and wearing the life vests and parachutes in the closet event yet to needing a bailin out of the junker scab plane

DIVERTED TO BOS from MSP due to MECHANICAL.

From Radar: PRAVDA, Headquarters in Eagan.

On October 18, Flight 42 from MSP to AMS diverted due to BOS due to a maintenance issue. The flight landed without incident at 9:30 p.m. with 266 passengers, but the original service recovery plan - to ferry an A330 aircraft from Detroit and perform a quick aircraft swap - was deemed unworkable when a qualified flight crew was not available. The next best alternative was to ferry in a DC10 from MSP to BOS, resulting in an additional five hour flight delay and greatly adding to the discomfort of Flight 42's customers. Complicating the matter even further, the seat configuration difference between the Airbus 330 and the DC10 meant seat re-assignment was a substantial challenge to do on the fly.

The crew at the BOS station, confronted with the unexpected at the end of the day, rose to the challenge.

"The adverse situation only brought out the best in our team of Ramp and Gate professionals who decided to meet the challenge 'head on,'" said Ravi Dadhich, customer service manager- BOS. "The agents teamed up and served water and blankets to our very tired customers while another group of CSAs manually checked-in all passengers and printed boarding passes."

"When we boarded our customers at 3:15 a.m.," Dadhich continued, "customers thanked our employees for providing exceptional service, care and support. Before departure, we offered our a sincere apology and appropriate service recovery. The majority were extremely pleased with the attention and care they had received even in the face of such a substantial disruption to their travel plans."

Flight 42 resumed its travel without further disruption and landed in AMS at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, nine hours and 54 minutes after its scheduled arrival.

The Boston station would like to recognize the following Customer Service Agents and Supervisors for their commitment, professionalism and willingness to rise above the call of duty, and provide excellent customer service: Kathleen Nolan (CSS), Amy Nelson (CSS), CSA – Jimmy Fallon, Stan Kwan, Rossette Varian, Donna Downey, Christine O’Connor, Kathy Warner, Marilyn Toro, Ryan Foley, Mike Vo.

Boston also extends its appreciation to the BOS ramp crew for their support in orchestrating “bag-pullsâ€￾ and ensuring prompt unloading and loading of all luggage and freight. In particular, Tony Moschella, Ned Hanlon, and Maurizio Picciotto and Billy Desisto.
