If your CS policy has been going on for years, it could be grieved as past practice, many things over the years in CBAs were not in it, and grieved as past practice and won by unions.

At some stations, past practice is almost impossible to document. CS policy is all over the map. So much so that it could not be called a "policy" or even a "practice". Some people get better deals than others.

ALL of which just highlights the reason we need REAL SCOPE in our contracts-as much, if not more than a good payrate, shorter step pay increases(like 3 yrs!, instead of 5)
Now...tell me again why we can't get rid of the TWU??..............unbelievable.

Nope. I let the liberation of going "home" get the best of me, and I walked away from TOO much.
It was crystal clear in no time......I shouldn't have left.

But, I'm working on that....🙂
